I mean they probably were but how much s**t talking goes on between players during practices and games? Like all the f**king time lol

Yup. Sounds like typical Trash Talking Sh!t that Players ay all the time. If they see it getting under an Opponents skin, they keep going with it.

Move along. Nothing to see here….
Why does anybody care if the Chargers were mocking Jimmy? he a big boy. he'll be ok. some ppl like making fun of others just part of life

sounds like more BS

except it wasn't. believe it or not, s**t talking is a big part of football.
it doesn't add up if you look at everything

s**t talking yes, i can believe, going to detail on salary... sounds like someone pushing an agenda

Was anyone disputing that it actually happened? I thought people were just angry that it was being acknowledged. Jimmy threw an interception and then had two dropped interceptions on the next 2 plays. The Chargers players probably just aren't used to seeing QB play like that.

I like to read what's going on in practice but I don't put a lot of weight in it. Players practicing against their own teammates or even another team isn't the same as a real game. No game planning and very vanilla defenses. That's why I can't get excited when I hear that Aiyuk or someone else caught a deep pass from Jimmy or Trey or the offense moved right down the field.

When they start doing those things in real games I'll get excited.

Agreed. for me the biggest thing is no injuries. After that I just want to here guys looking crisp and in shape. Hard to get hype off practice throws and sacks with guys wearing shorts. The passing stats is totally retarded. Seems like over the last 3/4 years fans have really started to take TC reports way too seriously.

true, they were getting roasted all practice.. so it was pretty funny how it ended

We posting stuff Getty says now?

But maybe they were but fact is Jimmy has gotten a lot further in his career than any of those guys. Jealousy and pettiness isn't a good look for anyone.

Especially when he lit them up earlier in the team drills.

Yeah the Chargers are well known for their amazing QB play with limited turnovers.

LOL. The Chargers were mocking Kyle Shanahan too yesterday. Good Lord. You always mock the most salient thing. Like, if I was a DB, I'd ask Aiyuk what it's like being able to tie his own shoes without ever having to bend over.

Yea, I wouldn't read too much into it. Trash talk is pretty common at these joint practices. It was only notable because the defense is not allowed to trash talk Jimmy at the normal practices.

That's the point of the tweet lol. You can't say someone is pushing an agenda if multiple people are saying it.

A long as they were talking trash about Jimmy's football ability so what? It comes with the territory of being one of the highest paid. Don't like it, get better. If they were getting personal about his private life or a non-football matter then that can be crossing the line.

Why even post this tweet? It's dumb tweets like this that side track this thread. Trash talk is part of the game. We don't need to make this a big deal.
