After 49ers' top two QBs lit it up on Day 1, defense struck back today… Garoppolo (first team) and Lance (second team) combined for 6 straight incompletions to end 11-on-11 work.

Hurd hasn't participated in full team drills during the first two practices, but coaches sound optimistic about the way he's moving around after missing last 2 seasons.
