Well, there's always Tom Compton.

This is what lynch and Shanahan have failed to do since they got here. Their contributions to the oline have been mcglinchey and Williams. Theor 2nd rounder appears to be a bust.. Mack is 65 years old. They've neglected the entire line. But let's spend three picks on a young qb. And let's continue to blame Jimmy g.

If Trey doesn't start Sunday, then it's not a true competition.

If Trey doesn't play with the starters, including the starting offensive line, then it's not a true competition. He doesn't have to start, but there has to be a 1-to-1 comparison with the first team offensive line.

And as Kyle said, it would be more about facing the #1 defense than anything. Garoppolo wakes up in cold sweats because of Fred Warner who's picked him off 8 times already. LOL

That could be today

That'd be so good for him!

So we can now officially say it's a competition.

Still not a competition but it was great for Trey to get those 1s team snaps.

Yeah, sounds like most were RO's and runs but he did get some passes completed too so that's great.

Now that's what I like to see. It almost feels like Fords new found health is too good to be true after thinking he may not ever play again. Our D line is going to be a problem for opposing offenses this year.

Ford 4 sacks. I'm going to excuse myself for a few minutes

Was anyone disputing that it actually happened? I thought people were just angry that it was being acknowledged. Jimmy threw an interception and then had two dropped interceptions on the next 2 plays. The Chargers players probably just aren't used to seeing QB play like that.

Pretty funny when you consider what a trash franchise the chargers are historically. Especially in the qb department.

Chiefs lose a Superbowl and completely revamp the entire OL to ensure they never repeat that performance.

We run it back...and add Tom Compton.

Their OL was "revamped" because their RT retired after the season and their LT had a serious late season injury. Did you think they wouldn't replace those players? They signed a great LG and used a 2nd rounder on C. Their RG returned from covid.

For us last year we added the best LT in football. I understand we left C hanging not knowing about richburg and didn't sign a great RG. Going into this year we signed a good C and used a 2nd rounder on RG. Whether or not it pans out we will see but to say oh the chiefs OL got destroyed in the sb so they did something.... I mean lol yeah their backups did get destroyed and so they replaced those injured starters that were still injured of left.

Ps
And guess what, if the chiefs (or any team) is without half their starting line they will "repeat that performance"

Yea and what sucks is when Deebo plays it really opens up the playbook. With all the motion and his running plays. And all the PA you can run off of those plays. The offense was totally different without him.

Well that hurts but what's Kyle supposed to do? Not run plays where Deebo is the most effective. Deebo, Bosa and Kittle all play with that reckless abandon. Expect them all to miss games from time to time because of minor injuries and hope they don't get too many major ones.

Feels like AJ Brown was the obvious pick there.

I forgot we made that choice

He has missed games due to injury in both his years too and has gone out of games with dings. I know because I've had him in fantasy football both years -_-

He's played in 30 regular season games in two years, eight more than Deebo.

Ok? He's still been injured. DK no games missed!
Sunday's game is now set up to be the decisive point in determining QB1. Looking specifically for:

- number of snaps with first team offensive line for Jimmy & Trey
- effectiveness of both guys, including any splash plays
- media narrative and opposing coach's and player's takes.

We will see how quick lance is to learn. I know the OL was trash but he missed some basic hot reads vs. KC. I have faith he will bring it!
