Don't look now, but Jalen Hurd made a couple plays at 49ers practice today. He had a nice catch-and-run and a nice stand-alone run. And that was like the fourth most interesting thing of practice. Just a wow day

Hands down most fascinating 49ers practice of Shanahan era. Just as I've been talking about for a while, he mixed-and-matched Garoppolo and Lance with both the first- and second-team offenses. Shanahan even swapped QBs multiple times mid-drive based on down, distance and defense

An interesting practice today. Jimmy Garoppolo got the lion's share of first-team reps and Trey Lance the bulk of the second-team reps. Both each got a few reps -- five -- with the opposite line.
