K
I predict this will be a ring season, the stars are aligned
Super Bowl or bust

Expectations are being tempered with the condition that the team is healthy at key spots such as WR and pass rush.

This team is upgraded at QB, D-line and OL. The NFC Champs have a statue at QB. Our team is built to beat teams like the Bucs.

On top of that, early reports show BA looking like a true #1.

as long as bosa is fine and we actually have someone. anyone to compliment him i will agree. i like the stuff we have done with the safetys. bringing in some rookie corners and looking at a respectable vet... but man.. that secondary has and always been a question mark.. if we can not get a pass rush,.,.. and it is a bad idea esp against top guys like rodgers and brady to blitz all the time......... then we are no super bowl team and are not even a 11 win team... no matter the qb in my opinion... the quarterbacks get the press... but our team has GOT to get back to what we do best.. running the football

Drafted 2 lineman that are beefy, 2 RB's and a QB with legs. Signed Gillman as well. Looks like they are taking it seriously.

i never accused the team of ignoring it.. though at times kyle gets to cute and gets away from the run when its working... i simply said.. it is great to have the good quarterbacks we have.. but our identity in my opinion is running the football . i was always amused at the niner and jimmy bashers in the media who started in with the alleged lack of faith kyle had in jimmy cuz he did not throw much vs green bay in the playoff game... or against the vikings.... if the run is working.. why in the world go away from it
just stay healthy and hopefully get a winning record

so if the run doesn't work on first and 2nd down, run again on 3rd and long ?

A defense either wants to have lock down corners and a decent pass rush or a dominant pass rush and a decent secondary. Most teams have a decent pass rush and a decent secondary.

A healthy Niners team has a dominant pass rush and a decent secondary just like we had in 2019. I'd even argue that a healthy Jason Verrett is a lock down corner. So best case scenario is that we have a dominant pass rush and a very good secondary.
Last pick in the 2nd round?

ok,, it was not that hard unless you are trying to be obtuse,,, if the run works and as long as the run works stay with it.. when they stop it. you do something different.. we showed two years ago and again back in the day with gire and hunter.......... when we are at the top of our game. we are the best team in the nfl at running the ball. and not just the traditional way.. getting deebo and maybe brandon involved in reverses.. hell. till he got hurt... no could stop mario manningham, on reverses. we do that better than anyone when we are at the top of our game in my opinion

good post.. jason is very very good and so happy he is here. i would be more than happy if they signed dre. i think that would be very wise. i just think our entire season does hinge on the pass rush we provide without having to blitz. i also have saluted the team for addressing the secondary in the off season and i hope they are not done yet with todays news
You play to win the game. Every. one. of. them.

i think you are being closed minded here, you're blaming Kye for not staying with the run... We did stay with the Run.. but there are times where you can't run all the time
