Unfortunately I am thinking the next two games could be ugly without a solid pass rush and weak CB play against Wilson and Murray. I hope I am wrong.

But now with our Dline playing so poorly and all the injuries at CB, I think we will miss the playoffs, and be around a 500 team, like 9-8 or 8-9. I mean where's Ebukam? Where's Ford? Bosa can't do everything himself.

My new prediction:
We still make the playoffs but after every loss our fanbase will continue to act like the sky is falling and we should just give up on the season. At the end of the year the NFL will bar the 49ers from using the word "faithful" as they should. Our new nickname will be the Faithless by the Bay.

No playoffs. Green Bay ran the Seattle defense against us, that is - don't wait to understand where the ball is with all the motion, just start attacking the LOS. We'll see this approach weekly. On defense, teams will just wham and chip Nick Bosa because no need to double-team Kinlaw. Hell he comes out every other play. Ford isn't the Ford we knew in ... hey did you guys know it's NOT 2019? 49ers approaching this as if it is. No corners in a QB-heavy division with a less-than-dominant pass rush.
Party like it's 2022!

The Packers had an average of 2 seconds from snap to pass. Name a D-line that is getting home in that amount of time.
I would be shocked if the Seahawks and Cards implemented the same quick release pass game with as much success.

I don't know how this team will finish but in some ways they might be better off if they miss the playoffs. It will force them to take a harder look at the personnel and make some tough decisions. They went into this season with high hopes based on just being healthy. Well that went south in a hurry with the RBs and DBs being wiped out. They need to address the DBs in free agency and with a couple of higher draft picks. Since 2017 they've selected 9 DBs but none higher than the 3rd round. That includes last season when the picked Thomas from Michigan even though he sat out last year. He doesn't look like he's ready to play again. Of the DBs picked since 2017 only Moore remains ( not counting the 2021 draft) and he's injured.
Time to get serious about theDBs.

The team has a lot of fight in them; which hopefully benefits them. The next two weeks are huge. If they aren't 2-3 I think they will be fine.

The Ramsey trade looks more and more brilliant for the Rams perspective and more and more stupid from our arrogant view.
We need CBs if we're ever gonna get the chip. I love DL, but we need CBs to make them have the opportunity to smash QBs.
