You people act like Trey played badly. 4 drops that would have been first downs. For a rookie, he played fine.

I said nothing if the sort lol. Wtf are you talking about? I agree he played fine for a rookie. Fact remains Jimmy is the starter and the FO has said so from day 1. That's not a hit on Trey, it's the obvious truth

People who think he was going to hit the ground and just play like Mahomes are living in an altered reality. The kid had promise and will be polished up. He aint ready and won't be starting anytime soon. He will be learning and he will be a great players but he ain't leading us through this season and to the super bowl this season.

He also didn't run one time tonight. That was definitely by design.

Drops didn't help with maintaining any momentum. I think he did excellent given the circumstances.

I watched the game, couldn't be rooting for him more, and have no doubt that tonight is absolutely meaningless, but also thought that he struggled tonight.

He did okay. Needs to develop more pocket awareness. He also needs more time with the receivers. Most of his passes dropped were accurate but he still has to develop that chemistry with the receivers. No argument that a few of the dropped passes were on the receivers, especially James.

He did. But that is to be expected given he has not played for 315 days and never in the NFL. He will be fine in time but the hype that he should start in game won and will lead the team to the Super Bowl is shear delusion. He will be great in time.
