Is it wrong to hope Jimmy goes 3 and out? Just so the 1st team OL stays in for more snaps (for Lance's drives).

We both know that if JG goes 3 and out he is gonna get another series full of easy passes and plays to establish confidence... likely what they will have already done with the first series too.

Lance will likely get 1 series after that with the starters then all second teamers except for maybe right guard to evaluate further. Tbph I dont care how anyone plays in this game as long as they come out healthy.

Edit: IIRC the lions went 4-0 in preseason before going 0-16 and the colts went 0-4 in the preseason before winning the SB. You definitely want to see progress, but for complicated offenses I wouldnt expect much. It's like trying to choose which flavor of vanilla is best.

I hope Lance does so well, that even Mahomes gets jealous.

I would only take Newberry out of that group.

When Heitman switched to Center he turned into an above average Center. Then Baas has the same stuggles at guard, took over for Heitman and pulled off the same feat.

It's going to be fun watching Trey with the one's. Can't wait - tear it up, kid.

I'm looking for Lance to be decisive with where to go with the ball, assuming protection is adequate. No 'deer in the headlights' type of moments - throw it on rhythm of the play. Don't care too much for the QB run game stuff at this moment.
