It's the 2 minute drill he is struggling with right now but that's to be expected from a 21 year old rookie who hasn't played a football game in over a year.
And no pass protection.
And little WRs who drop everything

Richie James playing himself off this team IMO, he's going to lose his spot to jauan Jennings now that sherfield is the special teams ace

Trey likes to throw downfield. That causes him to look downfield, and not at the pass rush. You want that.
The second team OL is trash. He's got to compensate for that by feeling it and moving. While this terrible second team OL might affect his confidence (I doubt it, but it's a real concern), it could also speed up his clock.

Take away those three drops and I think you change your opinion. It's reasonably close.
4 sacks and a fumble suggests Trey needs some more polish. He has plenty of promise but he needs more work dude
Obviously. Mahomes had a year. Allen looked like trash his rookie year. And he's unusually inexperienced for a rookie, and also hasn't played football in nearly a year. He will need time.
Yep I agree. That is the point I am making. It would be crazy to start him right away in the regular season. He will get hurt and lose his confidence. I think that was a bit of the problem with CJ. He was started too early. But he wasnt in the same league as Trey talent wise

Lots of good opportunities to coach Lance up. Just needs time.
Young DBs and LBs looked pretty good. Would like to have seen more pressure on the KC QB.
Young OL guys need a lot of work. It looks like they are half a beat slow. That is not unexpected.
If you are a coach, you have some solid film to build from...teaching...teaching...teaching.

Kyle is so competitive. You could tell it was killing him that the half ended that way.

No runs by Lance, just stood back there and pocket passed. Plus Shanny didn't really establish his usual running game
