Most intriguing camp battle?

I left out 'starting QB' because there are threads for QBs. Which position battle is the most interesting to watch unfold throughout camp and preseason?

3rd WR isn't necessarily the slot WR. It can be an outside guy (Trent Sherfield) then have Deebo move to slot (11 personnel). Sanu seems to have his name penciled in.

Al-Shaair at SAM isn't a lock by any means. Flannigan Fowles and Jonas Griffith making some noise in camp.

Dan Brunskill vs Aaron Banks will be a battle.

Has Jordan Matthews threw his hat into the mix for TE2 vs Dwelley? Can Charlie Woerner make noise here?

Assuming Mostert and Trey Sermon are the two primary ball carriers, Gallman vs EMitchell will be fighting to see who suits up on gameday as RB3.

I went with right guard. It's a starting spot and Banks was drafted to play it. Brunskill seems to be doing well from early camp reports but he doesn't wow, imo. Banks has the potential to be a bulldozer with good pass pro, and I'd like to see him hit the ground running and take this spot.
Definitely RG. Hoping Banks shows enough to win the starting job, but as long as the entire line shows improvement, I'm cool either way.
RG fasho.
RG for me.

Most impactful and important to our playoff/SB run
Right guard is the only position on the list that plays every snap. Thus, it takes priority over the rest.
WR3 because if WR1 or WR2 goes down our depth is pretty meh. RG has options.

Good point. I kinda like the idea of Sherfield winning WR3. I like Deebo in the slot, and since Sanu is a pure slot WR, if he wins WR3 there isn't as much formation flexibility if it's Aiyuk/Deebo/Sanu on the field in three WR sets. I know very little about Sherfield and only read a couple camp reports that he was making some catches.
Brun should have RG locked up. Dude can make Aaron Donald a mortal

Same for me.

The interior pass blocking has been problematic for a couple of seasons and I feel the WR3 competition is less important with Kittle on the team.
Rg is important but I do not think it is "intriguing". It is just wait for Banks to take over. Not that interesting.

With wr3 you have so many options and style that each had many implications to the offense. Is Jalen Hurd healthy and can he be ridiculous. Is James Jr. Going to step up with speed and open field movement.

I don't think depth battles will be intriguing this year, but more who stays on the team. There are a lot of favorites but not enough spots

QB
For all of the reasons stated above I think I would have to go with RG since it's an every down position and who ends up playing could have an impact on how well McGlinchey plays in pass protection this year.
for me it's who will get the last spot on the roster for the interior d line
