Trey just needs to be more consistent.

This fastball was actually accurate and on time tho

So was the one that James b***hed out on.

That's a sick ass play by Lance!

That's it. Sudfield time.

Lance has to go this entire quarter because he has been out of football an entire year

I wonder if it's his top end speed that is elite though. Kind of like how kaepernick was?

I don't think he has Kap's top end speed (most don't)... but Lance is better built (lower body), and is more agile and accelerates faster than Kap.

But yes Lance can take it to the house.

Yeah, we don't need to see Sudfeld.

Some don't take that into consideration... someone can be fast without pads and a helmet on in a comfortable setting... but someone at 230lbs running a 4.5, can carry those pads and helment well when it counts.

There's no chance he runs 4.5, unless it's some ludicrously favorable pro day shenanigans. 4.5 is Justin Fields speed.

I don't doubt his top end speed is fast, but he's a QB. He's going to be standing still in the pocket and then needing to escape from DL/LBs. The short yardage burst is the key for pocket escapability.

Looked to me that James had it and lost it when hitting the ground

Yea in 2022

60% chance it's before the end of this season.

Seems eerily familiar to 2012. Alex got the start but everyone knew Harbaugh was just looking for an excuse to start Kaep. Alex gets concussed and the rest was history.

the only way Trey gets a chance is if Jimmy goes down. And you are correct there is a 60% chance of that happening.
