Yes he does, all QB's do. Do you think Jimmy should start over him is the question. That's the point of preseason,to determine the roster and starters.

Jimmy needs to start the season, and Trey needs as many preseason and practice reps as possible, and a few snaps early on in the season.

And then when Trey has seen enough — possibly this season — or if Jimmy further regresses, then Trey will take over.

Or JG continues to develop and avoids injury and takes us to the play offs and SB and then what do we do? lol
