This is NOT the Trey Lance that played at NDSU. This is terrible.

The kid needs the practice running Shanny's offense. Just having him run isn't gonna help him have a successful NFL career in the long run.

More plays to be had, by converting a 1st down = more experience.

Completely agree. Shanahan loves these learning points for the rookie no doubt. It is a very long season
