The only way i could see this happening is we lose 3 starting OLs, Trent, Mack, and Brun….plus we lose Bosa, Kin, DJ, and 2 other DLs. Since we just finished a season never seen before in the NFL where 32 of our starters, at one time or another were lost to IR or PUP . So sure if we have a mega-catastrophe, sure , the above could happen. I just don't see that happening, hence cannot even envision one string of 3 game losses.

Ergo, without catastrophic losses of player, akin to last yr, the above will not happen.

ya i see 9-8 as the floor for this team. with 17-0 being the ceiling. there is just that much talent on this team. players an coach. we have that capability. its just gonna all be about health.

My problems with this list: A Jimmy G led 49ers team has never lost to the Packers or the Rams and are you really going to put an L on us against the Bears?.....
