Its mechanical. You need to keep your sight lines level or you're trajectory is off. Lance just need to work on his mechanics and his touch. He'll be fine.

I hope so, It would be a crime to give up so much for a QB with mechanical Issues.

Mechanical issues aren't genetic. It's fixable. Especially for someone as athletic, smart, and dedicated as Lance.

One of his biggest issues at NDSU was him throwing high consistently. This is not a new thing. Ball placement and accuracy were concerns for him coming out in the draft. Its an area that he needs to improve in greatly.

Jimmy has some of the same Issues though, same with BDN

Maybe its a QB evaluation issue?

Could be 2 QBs vs 3

Those issues were already there. For whatever reason people watched his pro day and thought he had fixed his mechanics

Everyone talking about concern over our QB's and we have a running game that can't be stopped.

lol

You disagree? Let's hear why. Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but at least my statement is accurate.

The overreaction is ridiculous. If you actually pay attention to what he's doing, he's going through his progressions. Hes not panicking and running around aimlessly when his first read is covered. For a kid with as little college experience as he has, he looks ahead of schedule to me. Kaepernick NEVER consistently moved to his 3rd progression, even as a veteran. Kid is extremely smart, and extremely dedicated. He's going to be just fine. He was never going to start right away, so
all the overzealous fans who expected him to be ready week 1 are now freaking out by every overthrow.

This is fair. He's at least a year away—no one should have expected to start right away.

I think the high throws are an element of 49er QB coaching. Jimmy has the same problem.

Really? So the coaches don't know how to fix that? Or maybe, the damn QB's just aren't doing what they are told. It's really hard to believe that a business with that much money involved would hire coaches that don't know what they are doing.

So all coaches are equal? This presupposes there's no difference in coaches or coaching talent around the league and we know that's not even remotely true.

I'm sorry. Did I say that?
Hasty with a pair!

I wish players wore number 49 more. It looks good on the uniform. Maybe guys think it's corny?
