Kyle's best cal of the day was pulling Trey Lance out and then running a QB sneak with Jimmy shortly after.

This scheme, with both of them playing, is gonna be so tough to plan for. Trey needs to get at least ten to fifteen plays so the threat is real, and teams fully have to prepare. Jimmy can execute as he does, and Trey can still throw the ball well enough, so teams can't clue on when he's there. And Shanahan is still willing to sneak Jimmy, so there's no guarantee there won't be a QB run with Jimmy in. And maybe with Jimmy sharing a quarter or so of his snaps, he won't get so comfortable he throws a boneheaded INT.

Looks like this could actually work.

I think it was more to just make teams think about it at the start of the year. Really dont seem him going to it during the regular season.
Raiders false start with :27 seconds left

Hopefully he makes the team so you learn how to spell his name.

Played great for the Yankees

Hard to make that jump...Brewers, Yankees, to 49ers. Can be done though, look at Primetime.

Why not?

And why would teams keep thinking about it if the threat wasn't there on a week to week basis?

They knew they were in for an ass-kicking when we put our starters on offense out there.

Certainly looked like we were trying to figure out the RB situation behind Mostert and Sermon, probably OL too.

At this point I think Kyle knows what he has at WR and TE. OL, RB and DL are going to be interesting cuts.

Pretty sure it's just because, as Shanny was saying, he wanted to give both Jimmy G and Trey reps with the 1st team offense.

I don't expect Trey to see 10+ plays per game. Probably 3-5 plays at most early on.
Did Jared Mayden play in this game?
