I liked him at LB...heard team loves Hilliard though

He has looked better than DFF in my opinion.
Also Hilliard did not look all that great against the Raiders.
Warner
Dre "The Goal Line Guardrail" Greenlaw
Azeez
Harris
with Hilliard inactive on gamedays.
Also I would not mind keeping 5 Safeties and only 4 LBS as long as they think 1 can be a big contributor on ST.
Yea he looked bad. Hopefully he was rusty

Just gotta turn that 6th round pick into a 5th rounder so we can draft another all pro
You know that's going to happen.

The fascinating thing is JL just created something out of nothing. I figured in Drafts and trades thread that it would be one of our Umpteen DLs, all of whom i would like to keep. So the Griffith thing was a surprise…LB…but , as they say, cuts aren't out quite yet…maybe 1 pm PST or something like that, usually. So JL already has one , let's see if he can bag another. DL sure seems like the likely place…esp if you are the Chargers or Raids.
4-5 yrs ago, a 6th or 7th didn't mean much. Now…what our guys have done down the draft chart, esp Rd 5, has been nothing short of amazing. Hats off to our GM. Well done….but don't stop yet.
On the other side of the coin, question is who might WE be looking at in cuts. CB? DB? OL? Hard to say.

I initially thought we would be trading with Saleh and the Jets bc of scheme fit etc.
Then I remembered the Jets are #2 on the waiver wire. They basically get our cuts for free
The only trade I imagine with the Jets would have to be Armstead.

It seems like John and Kyle are going to take this right down to the wire. Either they are looking for more trades or they are having a difficult time deciding on who to cut.

Niners holding on till the last minute to make their moves. What does it mean? They've made one nice trade to net a draft pick instead of just cutting a borderline roster player. Hopefully, there is more of that to come.

Our Front Office has to know that our cuts will lead to a feeding frenzy

Most likely, especially if the Niners release any of the d linemen, WR's, or RB's.

Good point. Saleh will feed on our cuts.
The mid-tier teams are the most likely trade candidates.
