AWFUL. He's even worse than Darnell Walker or Antonio Langham
This guy Norman is bad.

#38 was getting abused.

#27 Johnson had a penalty on a hard hit but looked pretty good again.

It's telling when Dontae Johnson gets praise for being a good corner. Just shows how BAD our secondary is…

I don't ever remember any 49er player that was this bad and with attitude.

I never knew how he got that big contract that year here in Carolina. His stock was up due to the system and players around him but after that 1 good year, once he got paid, he believed the media hype how great he was when in reality he wasn't.

The only thing he has really really helped this secondary D with is technique and proactively looking for opportunities & producing turnovers.
Norman is not bad... Dude is solid for an older vet, just way too handsy.

I don't love the PI, but I'm not gonna say he's been horrible overall. Average isn't terrible. He's been fantastic at forcing fumbles.

I'm sure we'll look to upgrade next year.

If he could just keep it in his pants and not take a taunting shot at an opponent after each successful play, I'd like him a lot better. It is so childish, so team destructive , automatically taunt an opponent after each good play he makes. Can't he be satisfied wth his good play? We can all see when he does good. But no, he has t call attention to it. Good grief that drives me to distraction.
I like the way Dontae Johnson has been trending going back to before the injury. I'd wager that he plays better than Norman when he gets the nod.
Get this guy off the team NOOOWWW

The only corners that were true lockdowns that I would have given all the money to were Darrelle Revis and Ty Law. There are a couple others that i'm forgetting, but there's not that many in today's game that are lockdown. Not island worthy.

I would add Charles Woodson and Deion Sanders to the list.

Rod Woodson in his prime.
This team could have traded a 6th RD pick for Gilmore.
