Jesus, people asked for a vet CB signing, now we do it, and "oh no not him" typical 49ers fans.
I don't think this means they're not high on Ambry, he needs time to develop, he didn't play last year, he opted out, just hope this means Johnson is cut, but I'd sign him to the PS for insurance, he isn't terrible, he's average, good in the slot, but I don't want DJ starting. I doubt they cut Compton unless Banks is ready to go week 1, then I'm good with that, either of them is fine with me. Don't cut anyone else.

Should have signed Darrell Green or Deon Sanders.

They say he graded out ok last year in Buffalo despite covid and an injury.

Not bad. Good veteran pickup. Definitely take him over Dontae Johnson
Norman>>>>>>>>>>>>Johnson
This is what it comes down to. I'm not hating on too many dudes taking over for Dontae. Let alone a former star CB that just happens to be past his prime.

Oh that's not bad at all. Hopefully he's a locker room leader type. He did fist fight Cam Newton once so that's cool.

Folks complaining about Norman as if he got signed to a 5 year 90 mil with 40 guaranteed. Dude is simply a vet presence who still has some game in him and surrounding him with the dline we have won't force him to cover longer than he has to. Not a bad signing at all, I rather play Norman than freaking the uncuttable Dontae Johnson

Better trash talking than his play on the field at this point in his career. Hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully he can give us some solid snaps and some timely turnovers. Seems to have a knack for punching the ball out.
