Almost feel bad for Dontae, almost.

Buddy who's a die hard bills fan said he wasn't bad last year
I'm fine with it as a depth signing and the contract is all incentive laden

Still want Eric Reid to get a chance to clock him... but for now, after Norman leaves out team. 😐

Its obvious they signed him to be a lead blocker in our running game.

How 'bout punt returner?

He's a fine zone CB. He fits what we do well, especially with Thomas acclimating to the NFL game. He's been average to above average in the games he's played according to PFF so lets see where he goes from here.

This!!!! I now will stop b***hing about our cb depth. I wanted a top 50 cb and I feel he is better than a few teams number 2 cb so that puts him right there. 1 int snd 4 PD's in limited games.....not bad. Imagine if he plays with our D If Verrett goes down we have a solid depth option imo. I like how Norman plays aggressive and actually turns his head for ints in phase.

Now we are covered at DE, QB, WR3 and CB. Great job by our FO. TOP 5 team easily

Dude, we're pretty good or deep almost everywhere, QB, RB/FB, WR, TE, DE, DT/NT, CB, S, ST, only shaky areas are the OL(mainly RG), and LB(Depth, we have 2 studs in Warner & Dre), this team may end up being much deeper than the 2019 team IMO.

Why not resign old man Sherman as well ? Would solidify our secondary for sure….

Because Sherman has off the field possible mental issues he's fighting. Have people forgotten the incident he had?

This what I said, he has his mental illness issues he's dealing with, football should be in the back of his mind, his mental health & physical health is more important than playing a game.

Lol I remember asking about the 9ers signing a veteran CB and someone saying it wasn't possible!!!!

Hey now, I said a deal like Hayward, he has a $2.5M cap number, Norman is worth UP TO $2.5M, key words UP TO.

I wanted Hayward more than anyone else but oh well. I'm just happy he's on the team for so little money. Way better than DJ and between Norman snd Demo we now have 2 solid backup cbs. That's all that matters

I think by the end of the season both Deommodore Lenoir & Ambry Thomas will be seeing some good playing time, Ambry needs to shake the rust off after opting out last year, I still think the 2021 draft could end up giving us 7 long term starters.

True, I just singled out those spots bc those were the primary areas besides RG
Here are Josh Norman's PFF grades the last 6 years:

2020 33rd
2019 128th
2018 49th
2017 49th
2016 26th
2015 3rd
2014 32nd

consistently a top 50 cb and for being a 3rd cb after Verrett and Moseley that's fantastic! I think he may be a better cb than Moseley especially with our Defense helping him a lot more than the Bills
Our CB group is pretty young. Its nice to add a vet that can step in and at least be a professional. Lenoir is going to be a stud, but he's still a rookie CB. I don't want him pressed into playing significant snaps if one of the starters goes down.
I hope he still has something left in the tank and can be a good mentor to our young guys. He was never fast (4.6 forty ?) but played smart.

AIN'T this guy older than Dontae and Sherm???
Solid pickup. Still think he has enough in the tank to warrant a flyer for what is likely the weakest part of this roster.
