No he didn't, it was a weird thing to say. Norman is a depth signing who has had success playing zone. I would have rather gone in a different direction but whatever it's a back end signing

And if it is indeed a Dontae Johnson/IR situation, remember the 49ers already have Davontae Harris on the list. So they'd have 2 vet corners with acceptable floors stashed away behind Verrett/Moseley/Norman in case of further injuries. The goal is to avoid a Brian Allen debacle
