Hats of to Jimmy, thought he played well

It is good you can say that. Some others are trying to be dismissive and it is not a good look.

Nah he played well, ran the offense like you I want to see…I'm just being objective. Always have been

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is how many times 49er D-Linemen were blatantly held during that furious Detroit comeback.

Every single time the camera lens fell on Bosa, a Detroit lineman had an arm wrapped around his neck from behind.

The D-Line did not fail to come through during those late drives. They did. But it's tough to make an impact when you are tackled or held, and those penalties are overlooked.

This is why I've said if we're gonna be held every game all game and it not get called you gotta question the philosophy to put so much into the DL

I am fairly certain the league office will be alerted to this. The tape does not lie. Detroit just did not suddenly get better. They just started cheating.

They were cheating all game. Most of the plays that they had where they ended up scoring - there was like pushing/holding etc.
We are clearly an exponentially better team than them - but like others are saying, why the f**k doesn't bosa ever get calls? Dude has been getting held a ton ever since he came into the league and I can't think of once where Bosa got a holding call.

We should just trade for the best CB that 1 Arik Armstead gets us

Honestly, that's not a bad idea. Highly unlikely though. Unfortunately.

We can't have Dontae on the field next week. Either Eman and Norman play or they need to bring back Sherm who already knows the D.

Sherman will be nowhere near game shape for play like Norman wasnt today. We may be stuck with that clown Johnson against a much better offense

Shanny has already said he's been in communication with Sherm. I get what your saying though thats why get him in here within the next day or two and have him start working out. Next week, we can have Eman and Dem start with Norman coming off the bench. Telling you, if Dontae starts, thats already on Philly's mind to go after him.

Nobody will want him besides maybe saleh, his contract just doesn't match his talent right now

It's the coaches fault for keeping a liability like DJ on the roster.
What a game there at the end. Ellijah and Al-Shezzieer plained balled out . Got gutted up the middle on them runs ,they need to fix this asap.
Yeah, the Lions came back to make it a game but it's nothing against the 49ers. The way the game is set up today shoot out is the theme. The defenses are handcuffed, so what do you expect.

Let's look at the stats next week. How many holding penalties were missed Against Detroit? Guarantee way more get called against the packers next week and our d line is equal at worst but I'd say better.
Probably an unpopular take, but aside from Verrett, this was the ideal scenario. Get a big lead, see how good we can be. Lose that lead due to 2 key mistakes by star players and still succeed and win despite that adversity. We know how good we can be, but understand how quickly that tide can turn and still make enough plays to win the game. Hopefully the close call will humble guys a bit and create good coaching opportunities.

JG - played a fantastic game, much respect for how he has handled this off season.

Verrett - I'm sick for this young man. So much heart. I wish him well.

Ryans - we all knew there would be a learning curve here, hopefully can grow into that role like Saleh did.

Mostert - can't stay healthy, but man, was Mitchell good. Think he just ran out of gas in the 4th.
