Wasn't able to watch game. How did deemo do?

They targeted JV a lot more. I was so surprised. We might have a stud.

The NBCBayArea guys said he might still nursing a hammy so nothing was really called his way. As far as Trey Sermon ... all Shanny said was "we activate 3rbs on game day"

They said they needed Mitchell to help with kickoffs so he got the nod. Then Mostert went down and he stopped taking kickoffs.

Clearly felt Sermon wasn't the best 3 out of Mostert, Mitchell and Hasty. They really f**king traded up and took Banks. It's crazy early but that's 2 players who if we're the right player would be helpful not a damn healthy scratch

sermon was inactive because they activated mitchell to return kicks. they didnt expect mostert to get hurt immediately

Jimmy G throws for 250 yards and 1 TD to Kittle, Lance makes a cameo appearance for 5 plays sprinkled around throughout the game and gets one goal line TD with his legs. Mostert and Sermon split the load evenly and both rack up 1 TD, Mostert is a 30+ yard rip.
Bosa starts the season big with two sacks, Dee Ford racks up a sack and forces a fumble. Warner gets an interception to cement his new contract.
Go Niners!

Please quit the Madame Sonya act. You have no clue. Lance will play way more than 5 plays. Jimmy won't throw for 250 yards. Sermon is inactive. You couldn't be more wrong...

Still laughing at not only how wrong this post was, but also how confident he was, like he just knew the future.

Jimmy threw for over 300 yards passing and Trey only saw 4 snaps. 0 for 2 bud. You couldn't have been more wrong.

Shanny said Trent has earned a right to get more snaps i dont know if overtaking the #2 spot but yes he is still nursing a bad hammy

Both posts were terribly wrong.

Packers are losing big to a bree-less Saints team
Least satisfying win I have seen in years.

Verrett's injury was non-contact and unpreventable. There's not way to prevent injuries except by not playing. The game has to be played how it is, not as how folks like it. The defensive starters should have NEVER been pulled when they were. Put the backups in on offense, but not on defense.

I love Shanny. I trust him. But this was a boneheaded move by him that almost costed us the game.

Its really not shannahans fault that kittle couldnt recover a punt and deebo fumbling the ball. It was just a series of bad event. s**t happens. On to next game we won.

Hats of to Jimmy, thought he played well

It is good you can say that. Some others are trying to be dismissive and it is not a good look.

Classy move, NY.
A fantastic win, after just cleaning the floor with the LIons, and then when kyle subbed in the 2nd half, we dang near came close to losing a "laugher" in the first half. I agree with giving the starters a blow, but there is a good lesson here, for the entire coaching staff.

The good news is that the Detroit new HC has a 6 yr contract, not much talent, and darn near brot the team back from a blowout the first half. At the end of the day, our guys played well, and even tho a blowout in the first half, Detroit got some respect back from their play and coaching in the 2nd half…and most important of all, we got the W. Bottom line that is what we wanted.

Along the way , a lesson/reminder was never to take your foot off your opponent's neck. You have to balance that with just how much of a blow to give your starters. I'm just happy with the W, loved to see #25 Mitchell, and our O looked great. Was interesting how at start of game Demeco had us in the Wide 9 and Detroit just ran thru it like water thru a sieve. We ended up moving in tighter, however, and that stopped the runs up the gut.

A "W" plus some lessons learned. That's a good day for me. Verret…that was really unfortunate.
