SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at DETROIT LIONS - 2021 Game 1

They had to find 5 inactive players and it came down to a RB. I guess right now they trust Hasty over Sermon. What other position could they afford to pick from Kinlaw? They are already without Kinlaw, So they don't want to sit another Dlineman. I am surprised Thomas is in the lineup. Maybe they will have him return punts or Kickoffs?

so with Norman not active that means Dontae will start? Geez....he's gonna get thrown at all day.

I am still hoping it's Lenoir.

Why is Sermon out?

Not cornfirmed if healthy scratch or not yet but Mitchell brings way more value on Special Teams so he is Up
I don't think sermon is 100% healthy yet from his injury 2 weeks ago. Remember he was starting while Mostert was out, I'm sure the decision was made due to us basically playing a 4th preseason game today to continue to let him heal.

The pregame show on NBC Bay Area is hilarious. Joe Staley is a treasure

Excited to see the pass rush rotation with Bosa, Ford, Ebukam and Key.

Sermon and Norman may be the only healthy scratch. Banks needs practice time to trust out there.

Hasn't banks been practicing all week?

If he has I've missed it. Last I recall reading is he's dealing with a shoulder and doesn't have the offense down.

I just looked back at the practice report and he was practicing. Unless he's the starter I don't think he's gonna be active because he can't play multiple spots.
