Trade for CJ Henderson on the Jags or even Gillmore on the Pats (5 more games to go until he's back)

cb is the weakest position group and now we need a cb1 in the worst way with the wrs in our division or Tampa bay in the playoffs or KC or Buffalos wrs in the SB Either way we absolutely need another goof cb

We up a lot of picks for Trey so we better score a ton of points

We did and we will but we absolutely need a good cb to compete for a SB. Verrett was that very good cb and Sherm was too for our SB run. This is absolutely necessary, way more important than a draft pick that may not even work out/become a bust.

They knew Verrett is an injury risk. Dammit! This neglect could cost us the season
Can we trade Armstead for CJ Henderson or Stephon Gilmore?

Probably not.
Sherman won't be cheap. I think he would rather not play if he doesn't get a big salary (>$4M).

I have a feeling you're right. If he's going to be a little b***h about it then trade for a young good cb. F it

I thought he was missing that last year. I wouldn't mind signing him now that he found it again.

If we sign him - how long is it going to take him to get into game shape?

Week thirteen😆.
Bring back the quitter
Jimmy Moreland
Quenton Meeks
Kevin Peterson
Jeff Gladney (legal issues makes this a long shot)
Cordrea Tankersley
Cre'von Leblanc
Holton Hill
Gareon Conley (injury don't know if healthy)
Kevin Tolliver (injury don't know if healthy)
Rashard Robinson

all cheap options that would keep DJ on the bench
Let's not forget we gave up on D.J Reed way to early and he's now starting in Seattle...

They were playing him at the wrong spot but I don't think they gave up on him. Just tried to get cute by cutting him to get him to revert back to our IR. Was a risk that the Hawks took advantage of it. I don't know why they wouldnt just put him on IR though

This would be the most stupidest thing ever
They are going to bring someone in, probably Sherm but I hope someone else due to Sherm being old and slow. I saw enough when he got burnt in the SB,plus he can't make it all 16 games without hammy issues almost guaranteed. With that said,if he's cheap enough he's still worth it over DJ. Goff knew it was an easy 6 when he lobbed it DJ's side on that 1 TD. I'd throw at him every time, your guy will win the battle or get a PI call 90% of the time. DJ had 1 sideline play yesterday that he defended well, the rest, well you know.

They did just bring in JN and he's not all that either, but again, can't be worse than DJ. They'll bring in another guy for when one of the other CB's goes down 1+ games.

Sea,AZ,Rams will put up 50+ on us if DJ has to start.

With Verrett down and likely out, the talk has already begun about bringing back the Big Dick, AKA, uncle sherm, but really better known as Richard Sherman. But is Richard ready to play football? Mentally and physically? I have my doubts about the former, and most fans would question the latter. I would welcome Richard Sherman back, but I am just not sure he's ready. What are our other options? Do we roll the dice with our young guys or are we going to go get somebody?

Sherm is

the team actually waived him with an injury designation hoping to resign him. no one really figured Seattle would claim him.
