Drafted vs FA you mean.

Yeah. Basically itd be nice to have Kinlaw and Aiyuk 100%. But hopefully they're reinforcements later on.

Are we just not counting Bosa and Ayiuk now? To this point in 5 drafts they've had 2 busts (in the 1st draft) and 4 starters. Granted 1 is having some issues now in Kinlaw with the knee.

I.missed Bosa but thats still only 2 out of 7. I'll give you 3 with Aiyuk even though he got gooese-egged and is making people nervous now. But Kinlaw's knee injury to.me is sounding very Dee Ford-y. The fact that he tried to downplay it in the offseason butbits still an issue makes me even more skeptical.
You might remember in 1994 when the Niners played Philadelphia and Detroit back to back. The Eagles knocked the Niners silly and Detroit led 14-0 before the team turned it around and got No. 5.

That's what they said in 94 about the 84 team.

I thought the OL which wasn't very good in most games, had their WORST game last year against PHI. They didn't really lose anyone of significance. And the Eagles OL which was destroyed by injury is healthy now.

Not an easy matchup given our injuries and their health. But our pass rush can cause havoc against any team. The issue we may have is if the Eagles have Hurts get the ball out quick like they did during the Atlanta game…though if they do they may be helping us out with our corner issues.

Honestly I think we may need to lean on our offense more. Our OL struggled against the Eagles D last year but it was also Mullens at QB. We'll see if the OL is ready to make up for last year. I think the improvement at QB and C, while Trent Williams shook off the rust and McGlinchey put on some weight, will have a much better showing out there.
feel like we're going to lose

is this an eagles forum? im just being real. our d-line isn't the best. kinlaw is softer than single ply toilet paper. they are going to be able to run in the middle and have success. i dont think we are going to pull of a win

The Falcons are bottom of the barrel, maybe worst than the Lions and I'm not sure really how good this new QB Hurts is other than being mobile. I would think his legs could do the most damage against us considering how our D doesn't adjust well to mobile QBs.

Yeah, we control this game all the way through. 35-12.

Mitpub, you forget that our DL practices against a running qB all day long, everyday, Trey runs the scouting team O and kyle tells him to run plays like a Kyler or Russ W would. So by the time they see Hurts, they will have practiced against an excellent Running QB all week.

I'm with you Doc. and want a Warner to stop those QB runs. I'm hoping the runs up the middle after addressed even without Kinlaw in there.
