The Falcons are bottom of the barrel, maybe worst than the Lions and I'm not sure really how good this new QB Hurts is other than being mobile. I would think his legs could do the most damage against us considering how our D doesn't adjust well to mobile QBs.

Yeah, we control this game all the way through. 35-12.

Mitpub, you forget that our DL practices against a running qB all day long, everyday, Trey runs the scouting team O and kyle tells him to run plays like a Kyler or Russ W would. So by the time they see Hurts, they will have practiced against an excellent Running QB all week.

I'm with you Doc. and want a Warner to stop those QB runs. I'm hoping the runs up the middle after addressed even without Kinlaw in there.

HAKUNAH MATATAAAA should be used as a SPY when we play those running QBs.. while he's only average in coverage, he's very very good in chasing the ball carrier..
This reminds me of back in 2019 when everyone thought we'd lose to the Bengals because they were competitive at Seattle and the Niners barely beat the "lowly" Bucs. Not to mention Jimmy was gonna get benched for Nick Mullens according to Mike Silver

For the Eagles

is this an eagles forum? im just being real. our d-line isn't the best. kinlaw is softer than single ply toilet paper. they are going to be able to run in the middle and have success. i dont think we are going to pull of a win

Well I'm just being real. The Eagles LBs suck, their secondary sucks besides Slay and their run D sucks. Also, Hurts is inconsistent and their wrs are as well. Smith will be good though so there's that.

I don't think the Eagles can pull off the win but lucky for them Verrett Mostert and Kinlaw are out or else it would be a massacre
I´m worried about Hurts buying time outside the pocket because our corners are......well we know it.

Me too but then again our front 7 is so good hopefully we can minimize the exposure. I'm calling it now, either Warner Tartt or Ward gets an int. Ward may get his first int since 2016

Lol good times
One thing about this contest is I know we'll come out looking to play a complete game with no let up second half

So that's why Lynch gave up what he did to get Lance? So they could practice against a mobile QB! Brilliant!

Jokes aside, this should help this year for sure.

Yup, I can't remember the last time the 9ers blew them out. Since 2001 the 9ers are 4-8 vs Philly and every time the 9ers did win it was no more than 3-6 points. The one time the 9ers won by 10 was in 2001 when the score was 13 to 3 and it was still a nail biter.

Very good observations.

I think that 2014 game versus Chip Kelly we took good control early on but the Eagles came back and it was a literal nail biter to the very end. I remember Fangio taking off his headset in relief after the Eagles turned it over on downs. And I also recall a goal line stand a bit earlier too.

We just gotta smash them.

Meanwhile the Eagles haven't beat the Seahawks at all in the Pete Carroll era.....no matter how outgunned the Hawks were, always won. Sigh.

We could also take a trip through memory lane in the Montana and Young era, and all those games were close too......or they kicked our ass in our last Super Bowl year. I even recall in high school ('93-'97) a Monday Night game that I believe went through the entirety of OT and I think we lost on a last second kick, and then I had to be up super early the next morning.

It's pretty odd overall. I think we have the same relationship with the Vikings, except mostly relegated to struggling in any of their stadiums.

Kinlaw would eat you alive and s**t you out without needing to use that single ply toilet.

Our DLine sucks now? What a fun and interesting story.

If the Eagles want to run up the middle on us that would be very welcomed by our coaches. Considering their strength is speed on the outside and our corner play is very suspect right now with Verrett getting hurt.

This will be a close game. Eagles will be playing at home with a ton of confidence. The 9ers are on the backend of the road trip. 10am east coast games have always been tough for us. While the 9ers are more talented, the outside factors cannot be ignored. I feel like it will stay pretty close with the offenses matching each ot her but 9ers will win the turnover battle and do more in the 2nd half to secure the W.

Jimmy G - 250+ pass yards and 1 TD
Lance - 20yds rushing and 1 TD
RBs - 150+ yrs rushing
D - 3 sacks, 1 FF and 1 INT

27-17 9ers

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
This is going to be a tough game. Mobile QBs have given the team fits the last few years and the Eagles new coach seems like a guy his team will play for. It will be extra challenging now that Verrett is done and Mosely is still questionable. Lenoir seems like he has some upside and Williams is always steady but beyond that there doesn't seem to be much to write home about. Maybe Thomas will find his groove. Hopefully Kinlaw will be back to shore up the middle of the run defense and Bosa and Ford will be able to keep that QB from getting around the edge. Should be a good test of what the Niners can do without their top corners in play.
