Our DLine sucks now? What a fun and interesting story.

If the Eagles want to run up the middle on us that would be very welcomed by our coaches. Considering their strength is speed on the outside and our corner play is very suspect right now with Verrett getting hurt.

Just another internet tough guy calling a professional football player a p***y lol

Man I would pay money for one of these clowns to have the balls to call out a professional athlete face to face especially a 6'6 300 plus dude a pu$$y because he's hurt. All these guys calling these players out are most likely 5'7 max obese or guys who ever lifted a weight in their lives

This is going to be a tough game. Mobile QBs have given the team fits the last few years and the Eagles new coach seems like a guy his team will play for. It will be extra challenging now that Verrett is done and Mosely is still questionable. Lenoir seems like he has some upside and Williams is always steady but beyond that there doesn't seem to be much to write home about. Maybe Thomas will find his groove. Hopefully Kinlaw will be back to shore up the middle of the run defense and Bosa and Ford will be able to keep that QB from getting around the edge. Should be a good test of what the Niners can do without their top corners in play.

agreed. Eagles will be tougher than we think.

But if we can play like we did in the 1st half last sunday, but for 4 quarters. we should be keeping this game close.

Injuries already playing a huge factor. not having Kinlaw in the middle is already affecting our inside run defense. no status yet on Greenlaw if he will play.

i feel pretty confident with Lenoir but we just need to find that 2nd CB who isn't Dontae Johnson please!

Not so worried with our RB's just because we are deep there.

Need Aiyuk to be active in this game.

Pass rush needs to be on point as well.
26-21 Niners

49ers go up early with a couple of Gould FG's
6-0
49ers touchdown in the 2nd Q
13-0
Eagles TD to close out the half
13-7
49er FG on first possession 3rd Q
16-7
49ers TD on the following possession
23-7
Eagles TD to close out 3rd Q
23-14
Eagles TD mid 4Q - keeping it close (is this another late meltdown?!)
23-21
49ers FG on next possession
26-21
49ers D shut Eagles down late 4th Q with a big Bosa strip-sack turnover to finish them off

Niners win baby!

I don't know if mobile QBs have so much given us fits as we simply haven't been able to abuse them like we have the pocket passers.

there is a certain give and take with mobile QBs. Some because of their mobility hold the ball longer because they're able to avoid rushers and make plays down the field but that also opens them up for more sacks or running into sacks. Flip side is pass rushers have to be more cautious rushing them understanding if they lose contain and don't wrap them up those QBs can gash them on the ground.

This game is going to be an interesting barometer for where our season is headed. If we cannot beat the Eagles it's going to be a tough ask to beat the NFC West teams who are built similarly with good WRs, solid TEs and either mobile QBs or big arms.

Honestly I'm not sure what team we have right now because of Kinlaw and Moseley possibly being out and having some others banged up and losing Mostert and Verrett.

Haven't had a chance to watch the week 1 Eagles game yet but from what I read a lot of their offense was get the ball out quick and let WRs make plays. If they go with a
similar game plan our pass rush may not have a chance to get there but it also helps cover up our issues in the secondary so tackling has to be on point.

On offense we'll need to score points but the Eagles DL is a hell of a lot tougher than what the Lions put out there so everyone better be on their A game. Can't have mistakes in this one.

I'm hoping Ryans will dial up the coverage disguises to get Hurts thinking more than he should and prey on his inexperience. Mix it up a lot - blitz, rush 3, man, zone, everything in between.

Haha. I would do it. Not because I believe it, but I'm willing to take a few licks for a nice payday. 🤣

1 punch to any area you fall and stay down and collect the bag. You're not going to die off 1 hit
was it 2012 Harbs mobilized for battle and went into Philly, they had a mobile QB (Vick?), and we squeaked out a win... looking for the sequel here
Nice Kinlaw is practicing so a lot of the whiners calling him a bust can pull out their panties from their mouths
