The Eagles started off a little slow but really started playing well. Hurts was very accurate and played a great game. My opinion is this game is going to be a problem. I want to win this game as much as I do the Seattle games. Before the season I had the Niners winning their first 2 games easily but I have some concerns now. Hopefully the run D plays really well and the secondary steps up. Or O looked as good as I've seen under Shannahan. We're gonna score our points, hope they can get a few stops against philly. Not saying we're gonna lose, I'm not confident about it that much either. Hope I'm wrong and they humiliate them.

What brings my confidence down is the secondary. Hurts will take advantage of that for sure. The pass rush absolutely needs to be solid to help them out. Niners can't afford 3 and outs either.

If we would of beat the Lions 41-17 then everyone would of been talking about a blowout win against the Eagles as well. No everyone is worried lol

Yeah...because we didnt lol. The defense collapsed and JV went down

Well, the onside kick was super flukey. Also, the team needs to start campaigning for stricter rules about how holding is called. Saw several instances late in the game where Bosa was being flat out held with zero call. Even the commentators at one point were surprised something wasn't called on a play.
Yea we have always had issues with running qbs. The front 4 really need to control the game. Eagles o line is better than Detroit's. Jimmy and the crew gonna have to put up points. Big test for the right side of the o line. Fletcher Cox is 10 better than anything Detriot has upfront. Who will step up at CB

I agree, our niners team (although only one week in) look like their gonna be a problem on offense. And like I said, only one week but the D while looking good in some areas show some concern for me. The rush D and now the secondary. I'm very worried but still know this team is good enough, deep enough in areas that will help them get by with other areas of concern.

I thinks Hurts will take a lot of what the D gives him. Gonna see some long drives with short high percentage passes.

Man I just hope our D has one of those games where they're just fired up and put it all on themselves. Tell themselves they can only win if we do our jobs and destroy this team.

You know alot of people have been saying this. I didn't see it during the game, wasnt looking I guess. It must have been bad for as much as I'm hearing. That $hit really sucks and would be beyond frustrating if we lost.

If we would have lost. it would have been on us.. refs do not cause you to blow 16 points leads., face it,. the coaches blew it by taking starters out. going to the prevent defense. it was not the refs fault that we could not stop the run. or that deebo fumbled, and not being prepared on the first onside kick.

It's a long season. Game was over. We still got burned
49ERS 24
EAGLES 20

.. Game will be closer because Jalen can run, and historically, we've always been CLUELESS when it comes to QB that can run !!

for the 2nd week in a row though, A WIN IS A WIN !!

AH TAKE IT!! AH TAKE IT !!!
I'm more concerned about Hurts' ability to run and extend plays outside the pocket than his ability to burn our secondary from within the pocket. Kocurek is going to have to remind the guys to rush as a unit, rush to proper depth and protect each other to keep Hurts in the pocket.

Hurts doesn't scare me - we should control this game. 37-12, Niners.
Anyone from Santa Cruz? If so, where is the best place to watch the Niner game?

They played like they have nothing to lose yesterday. We definitely need to bring it to them next week!
I think if Dline steps up we win easy.
