If we plucked him off waivers that means he's now on the 53, right?
The #49ers claimed RB Trenton Cannon (Virginia State) off waivers from the Ravens. They had an opening on the 53-man roster, so they do not have to clear a spot to add him.

Cannon was invited in for a visit during the 2018 draft. Turner was interested then so who knows. Maybe wide zone will do the trick.

Read somewhere he was a ST gunner and kick returner. Makes since from that standpoint.
