I don't worry about matching up with GB. I do worry about the east coast hang over phenomenon Shanahan mentioned today. They've come out flat and had L's hung on them the last two home games after a two week road trip. Don't like that.
Not for the opener

True! I do like that!
Levi's will be rocking and they will love it.. I can't wait

2019 first 2 games were road games. The home opener vs steelers was soo bad were lucky to win it. But then again this is a prime time game

central time/east coast teams usually suck in west coast prime time games

biological clock for them: 5/5:30pm PT start = 7 or 8 pm….10-11pm by the time the game is winding down

this + Packers are coming off a MNF game with a short week to prep = Niners have extra home field edge

(think of this as a reverse-10am east coast game)

The doubters had us losing against philly and we proved them wrong. Probably a bunch more on A Rods wagon. Let's dominate them!

Can the 1.2 trolls picking the Packers over my beloved 49ers please stand up to explain your logic.

they don't think its 2019 anymore.

I am picking the Niners to win, but I don't think its going to be a gimme.

Same... I'd be allot more confident if 5 RBs werent injured and our top 2 CBs were available to start. But a healthy Bosa and Ford should be able to harass Rodgers enough for whichever RB we just signed off the street to get over 100 yards and grind out the win with time of possession.

Wondering if our RB situation causes Kyle to put in a little more Lance packages as a runner. GB doesnt have the best track record against mobile QBs. JG will still get 90-95% of the snaps but seems like this will be a Shanahan special... where we throw in something that they just cant stop and keeps Rodgers off the field, or at least thats the hope.

Actually, I'm not worried about our RB position. I'm looking for Hasty to have a monster game, in the run and pass element. It remains to be seen if Mitchell will be in the concussion protocol. If Mitchell is a go I think that's all that Shanny needs for a dangerous run game. (Look for Kerryon Johnson to be activated.) And I think you're right, Lance will be a real factor in this game.

So the way I see it, I think we're setup pretty good for this one. We have this teams number. I was actually pulling for the Packers tonight though. I really did not want to face an Aaron Rogers lead 0-3 team.

Yeah...about that.

Did you hit your head?
My biggest concern with the Packers is our corners vs Adams and Rodgers combo. Our DL will need to bring the heat all day long. Cuz as well as Lenoir has played so far, Adams is another level of WR.

This is a game where our offense has to carry the load as is typically the case when we play Aaron Rodgers. I certainly wish we didn't have our RB room so beat up but I also trust Kyle to get production out of whomever is out there.

Hope the team is ready to rock and open up Levis with a big W.

that's what doubters do. Majority of the national media picked the niners. won't be that way vs the Packers

Yea that's gonna a big test. Unless the Packers are brain dead i would expect them to get the ball out fast

Oh yes. I already see a few predicting the Packers will beat us because we're "injury riddled again". Oh my… I guess they didn't see what our D line did to them when they were healthy.
Kevin Givens is a huge loss, Zack Kerr is not playing well at all. I'd rather give Darion Daniels shot to play.

Expect no huddle and quick snap counts to catch the 49ers in their defensive substitutions because LaFleur knows it's difficult to line up and beat the 49ers D straight up, so they'll go with that punk s**t.

Again, low expectations for the defense until they've had a couple more games under their belt, so they might look bad at times given the next 3 opponents. Philly left a lot of points on the board, although credit should go to SF.
Their d coordinator sucks balls. If Shanahan can't score 40 on that turd of a defense...

Yes we will. I think they'll score more than 10 though.... 38-24 niners.
The blueprint to beat AR is rush 4 and cover with the rest so he doesn't get anything easy

Every defense capable of doing this has caused AR issues in the past

My favorite was in 2019 when the Chargers did it first and we repeated the same results a few weeks later

We have a legitimate pass rush that should get the job done
