Just have to make sure that the D shuts him down in the 4th.

He has always gotten splash plays against the 49ers, his entire career.

Some epic throws against Fangio's defense.

But more often than not, our defense always has found a way to slow him down. Even the Tomsula season when it looked like a total disaster, we still played him decent. The 2018 game at Lambeau we did ok.

Only a COVID collapse of roster gave him the ability to beat us in dominant fashion.

I respect the Packers, but don't fear them anymore. We flipped that 1000 game win mentality from the Favre era when we beat them in Lambeau, September 9th, 2012.

agreed.
We're going to kick their ass

Nick Bosa is ready for primetime.
This will be my First game at Levi's and my first 9er game in 10 years. Very excited!

My first game at Levi's will be the MNF vs the Rams. Have fun! Go Niners!

Not to be debbie downer(hope our OL keeps that up for a long long time) but I remember people saying the same thing about the Seahawks pass rush when they came in to our house in 2019. Suddenly they woke up.

However circumstances were very different so I think we should be good in terms of pass pro but just saying 2 week sample size doesn't guarantee anything when in 2019 the worst pass rush in the NFL heading into that game absolutely killed us that game.

If GB doesn't make a concerted effort to get their running game going to help slow down the 49er pass rush, Rodgers will be under pressure often. No Bakhtiari means Bosa will feast.

Our OL was injured that week too. And we always seem to play the Hawks after they get out of their early season funk that happens every year.

Unfortunately, not true from what I've read. Supposedly the left tackle (played very well at guard last year) is playing as good or better than bakhtiari

Seems unlikely. Bakhtiari is one of the best LT in the game, but does have issues staying healthy.

Woah that's a surprise, if true.

I do not think we are a very good 2-0 team. I question the pass rush . aside from bosa and the packers will double team him. I think the catch phrase of. we can run with any back out there has hit the wall as we further go deeper and deeper in the goodwill dumpster to try to find someone. i question our secondary. if we get beat by 2 touchdowns and rodgers lights up our team. i will not roll out the shock and awe

I'd say no since we're playing at home...but i know better.

For whatever reason whether we're at home or on the road the refs seem to be hell bent on ignoring certain things against us and yet love to call s**t on our players. Don't even get me started on the no calls vs Garoppolo when compared to other QBs.

ok,, the excuses for our possible poor play sunday are already starting.. sad
