Its kind of hard to believe Todd Gurley can't get a look. I know he's not the player he once was, but he had an okay year in ATL last season.

Really I mean we are not even giving him or gore a tryout Kyle is really stuck up on the need for speed

Sermon and Patrick are both slower backs
Dontae Johnson for Derrick Henry straight up.

FRANK GORE!

I would be on board with this. He can get a rigm and retire as a Niner.

He may be old, and slow.... But he is reliable, durable, can block with the best of them, has high football IQ, and hits the hole hard. I know people say he isn't a fit in the offense but I disagree.
Frank that is, From San Francis
Breida is 3rd string Buffalo. He would be my target but maybe I'm just a homer from when he was here before.

He was so fragile when he was here it is highly unlikely Kyle would take a chance on him again. The theme of "availability is the best ability" resulted in the Lance trade-up. The Patrick signing sends a message.

I agree but if it was for a 7th rounder and he at least helps until Wilson gets back I'd be interested.

I'm also not a GM or coach so it is a very uneducated opinion I admit lol

The pivot point is how long Hasty and Sermon will be out. If Sermon clears protocol his week, the pressure will be off. I hate to give up a draft pick for a guy we may only need for a game or two.
This definitely needed its own thread.

He fell off hard after those early weeks of 2019, not to mention he caught a severe case of fumbleitis

Weird thing is you're most likely looking for a RB you can get rid during the season... when you have five backs hurt, and four of those five are going to be back within a couple of games... who do you bring in, and would those guys come in knowing their stay will be shorter than the season.
So who are the gunners on special teams? Maybe Kyle should let one of them tote the rock, like how he did with Mostert.

All you need is speed.
Anyone have a guess why they're looking at so many WRs?
Maybe we should see if we can trade a bag of fritos to Miami for Breida back.
