Minnesota already said no.

He seems like hes trying to get cut so might be a moot point anyways

Why would the Giants want a player though? They probably want picks. That team is going nowhere.

Banks is like a draft pick since he's a rookie. I'm sure they'll be picking O line next year. With his size he might be a better fit for them.

Sign Richard Sherman. He is better than most of the CBs on our roster. He would of made a big difference in last night's game. He isnt as fast as he use to be but davante was owning our CBs within the first 15 yards with flat and out routes. That is something Sherman would have taken out of the GB playbook.

As for CB, i dont think we need a big trade but there are a few small-medium trades that we can make to bolster our RB group

Exactly. At the minimum, Sherman would've prevented Rodgers from going half the field in 30 seconds. You need a veteran presence in that situation. Need to sign SHERMAN ASAP

There is no way in HELL Dontae Johnson should be on this team and not Sherman. Just. No. Way.
You aren't likely to get a CB who is appreciably better than the ones we have unless you're willing to trade something back of value (e.g. Aiyuk). Honestly, I think if they can make the numbers work then they really should be calling up Richard Sherman because the CB situation is embarrassing for a team with the aspirations it has.

It's also important to put this into perspective. The 49ers lost on a last second play in a game they should have won to a team that will be in the mix to win the NFC this year. All is not lost, we don't have to jump.

Why do we refuse to address the CB position? Henderson was out there and Panthers traded him for peanuts

Gotta have something to trade, my man.

Would love to see Armsteads contract off the books

Armstead is playing well this year.

Yep and if traded he leaves a $15m dead money hit next year with just a $3.15m savings makes no sense to trade from a position of strength when we're already down Givens

pattern for this team. tepid steps at best.. then of course the one good thing we did was josh and he got hurt. sigh, i do not know about a trade.. but now i finally think we need to call sherman.. and before anyone says.. he is to slow.. jesus. did you see the game last night. i think the alleged pass rush and d line is what its going to be for the year. and thats not very good. go ahead and double team bosa all game long. no one else can get the job done
Be crazy if there was a veteran out there who already knows the system...

sherman would have been telling the alleged dc we have to make better play calls and be more aggressive at least

Proyally would've mentioned playing zone instead of leaving some scrubs to defend Aaron Rodgers and Adam's one on one

terrible.. i am not yelling cuz we scored. if you have the defense. you think you do. then you can make a stop.. but holy hell.. we just rolled out the red carpet and let rodgers and adams beat us.. we f**king knew what rodgers would do and who he would go to.. oh never f**king mind

Classic sky is falling 49er fan reaction. We lost one freakin' game of a 17 game season to the best QB in the game because we left 37 seconds on the clock. Chill the heck out.

The sky is falling, we have no corners worth a damn and 0 RBS...Rodgers went down the field in damn 2 plays..let that sync in for a second
Norman will help...he got banged up last night, but he's a tough vet, he'll be back soonest. Lenoir's getting schooled plenty, but he'll learn. He's got good skills and just needs experience, which he's getting in abundance. Losing Verrett was tough...when healthy, he's a legit baller. I get some of the criticism WRT Dontae Johnson, but he did prevent another TD covering Adams. They'll get Davontae Harris and DL Hurst back this week. It's all hands on deck, with whatever you have. We have a very good roster, just need to get more from them. Ryans will become a legit DC...but, he's got a lot to learn to achieve that status. Offense will need to be more efficient to ease some of the pressure on our secondary.
You should never have to trade for a position that you spent two draft picks at each. No matter injuries, that's just bad drafting.
