E.Thomas is available and doesn't need coaching in this system if we move ward back to CB. Oh and he can actually produce turnovers.
we're going to lose.

We were supposed to have a "favorable" matchup against GB bad d and the same is being said this week against Seattle. Can't have Jimmy starting slow and no damn run game, offense is going to need to score points because I have no faith in covering Lockett and Metcalf

This is how I felt last year vs AZ in the 2nd game. Cards were literally desperate for a win to lockup a playoff spot and we beat them with injuries/backups all over the place.

The nfl is strange. I feel oddly confident about this game and I'm not sure why

Who in the Hell is going to cover their receivers? lol

Hopefully not Dontae Johnson.

Would be my wet dream right now if we could pick him up.

Apparently, Seattle has had trouble even sustaining drives in the 2nd half during their last 2 games, that TD on a Tennessee blown coverage notwithstanding. Basically the opposite of us.

I saw Seattle's lone OT possession vs Tennessee, and it straight up looked like they treated 1st and 10 from their own 13 yard line as 3 chances to complete a 10+ yard past the LOS pass which led to that 3rd down near-walkoff-safety-debacle, and I guess Seattle fans were basically saying the same thing about the previous 2nd-half drives during regulation.

People always just assume the Seahawks are a good team no matter what their roster is and what their record is.

Well I'm glad they can't be the niners straight up. It takes Verrett to be out (who shut down DK Bigtime), Greenlaw the Seahawk killer and our best 4 rbs for it to be a game. Typical of the last 2 years. Remember backup kicker Kyle McGlaughlan's hilarious missed walk off fg to win the game that went through the tunnel in the stands?

Straight up doesn't matter, our record does. They have injuries as well. This is a must win IMO if we want to make it to the playoffs. Cannot lose at home against a team in the same division.

They have injuries as well to maybe a replacement level player or two at best and their star players will play. So it DOES matter. Verrett is a pro bowler, Mostert is the biggest play threat at rb in the league. We have to win this game but then again, if Seattle loses 2 of their best players for the year, or the Rams or the Bucs, we can make not only make the playoffs but advance. It's all about injuries and the niners have some of the best depth in the nfl but a laughable amount of injuries compared to almost any team. We will just have to wait and see
