Cool. Might as well not watch then
Well I'm glad they can't be the niners straight up. It takes Verrett to be out (who shut down DK Bigtime), Greenlaw the Seahawk killer and our best 4 rbs for it to be a game. Typical of the last 2 years. Remember backup kicker Kyle McGlaughlan's hilarious missed walk off fg to win the game that went through the tunnel in the stands?
This is why Kyle gets a bad wrap on his coaching decisions. Did you see the coach for the Chargers Brandon Staley last week ? Knew his kicker couldn't hit a chip shot even when they were in the red zone so he put the ball in his best players hands at the end and let them win it by scoring a touchdown.
Kyle, KNOWING we had a backup kicker, thought it'd be just good enough to set up an unknown commodity of a player to kick a 40+ yard game winner.
Such a pisser

Keys to this game. 1) own the line of scrimmage 2) don't give up the big play.
The offensive line, especially Mack, needs to both run and pass block better than they did against the packers. With no run game and poor pass protection, 28 points is a testament to Slippin' Jimmy's quick release and ability to quickly process the field.
I watched a highlight reel of the biggest plays in September. Our defense had more highlights against them than any other team. The defense needs to keep everything in front of them and not give up the big play. In other words, stop using man coverage.
If these two things happen on Sunday, our boys will walk away with a W.

The 49ers have never beaten Seattle "easily". Now, with a bad secondary, and a suspect pass rush and offense, the 49ers are supposed to win?
Seattle winning 31-17 is more likely than the 49ers winning 31-17. All said and done, the 49ers could be the 7th playoff team from the NFC, with a few strokes of luck.
Too much pre-season hype and a crazy amount of positivity!
If the 49ers win this game, it just confirms Seattle is a bad team.

Don't the Seahawks have an even worse secondary than us? Atleast we have safeties that can cover. The Seahawks don't even have that. Their top 2 corners are Flowers and Reed. I would take Eman and Lenoir over both of them.

I was thinking the samething. I would rather go with an inexperienced talented guy over an experienced untalented guy in Johnson. Were not going to compete this year without getting much help from our rookies. Time to start playing them. I think 2022 is the year for us, When we can get Jimmy's contract off the books and reload our roster around our new QB who will be on a rookie contract. But we need to develop these rookies so they will be ready next year. They need to play.

You'll see, against us somehow the Seattle D will finally find their groove and the midget will deliver.
