⛏ SF 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks Pregame Thread - 2021 Season Wk 4

Russell Wilson gonna be the front runner for MVP after he's had his way with this defense.

Seattle defense has worn down in all 3 games after a good start by their offense. The Niners need to get off to an offensive start like they did against the Lions.

The key to winning this game is to STOP Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. I'm gonna lose it if Ryans matches up Moseley with DK Metcalf, I hope to see Moseley/K'Wuan on Lockett and Lenoir on Metcalf.

This feels like a must-win game. I think the Niners are poised to bounce back and will hopefully make a statement early and play hard for 4 quarters. None of this allowing teams to hang around crap, if they're up they need to put teams away. If they start slow again, I think they lose the game and with the Cards the following week I fear that could put them seriously behind the eight ball in the division because both these teams play them tough.

K'Waun Williams out 3 weeks. Norman probably out too. Porous secondary. A QB that starts horrible and plays decent late in games. Will probably make the Seahawks defense look like prime Legion of Boom and they'll be back to loving Ken Norton again.

Refs will also make sure Tyler Lockett and Metcalf get their fantasy points.

Can't imagine what they do. Maybe stop with the man coverage since its not going to work. Aside from that, just make Jimmy a game manager and run the football. Maybe something can happen

Lol Jimmy & this offense ain't putting up 30 points, let alone 40. Jimmy has attempted 2 passes all year with 20 air yards. Expect another slow start, Seahawks go up 21-7 or so at halftime, but the game is mostly over at the beginning of the 4th.

The Seahawks had a historically bad D last year and Jimmy did Jack s**t against them. When the niners D has a weakness, teams exploit it with great success. When our opponent has a weakness, we don't exploit it at all.

Lockett got injured at the end of the game last week so he might not be 100%. Still have to deal with Metcalf. Seahawks D hasn't been good so we may have to outscore them in a shootout.

Detroit game was the best of Jimmy's career and an aberration. He put up 17 points against a crummy eagles D that just got torched for 40+ and 28 points vs GB where the refs were responsible for 14 of those.

Is it possible we put up 30? Yeah, anything is possible. We could get turnovers (lol ...), Or the refs could gift us another favorable game but more than likely it'll be your typical Jimmy game: short passes, nothing outside the numbers, long drives needed. With a QB like jimmy, the longer the drive the more likely he makes a dumb mistake (as he did on the fumble vs. packers)

I would love to be wrong mind you! I would live for Jimmy to come out and perform as he is paid, but after seeing him start 30+ games for us I can predict with a reasonable degree of certainty the type of game you'll see from him and it won't be enough to win considering our awful secondary

we need to set the tempo early.. Cant have them going straight down the field scoring like GB. WE need Bozza and the boys to get RW

20. Trey put up the rest. We have no running game. Kyle is effed as it's on Jimmy. We will not win an NFC West game with 20 points. Prob not 28.

We had a running game against Detroit. That's done.

Pretty simple. With our wr's and TE's an Allen, Mahommes, Rodgers, Stafford cancels out the secondary issues but we would still need an elementary running game at least which we could manufacture. Jimmy has ZERO Kobe like killer instinct in him.

Well we put up 41 against the Lions who held the Ravens to 19. We can drop some points on Seahawks
