Well, one would *think* that helps us, but it didn't help us that much last week
Was thinking the same. Although GB game planned for it by doing lots of quick short passes. If Seattle tries the same it might be a good thing because they are a very big play dependent team. The times we got blown out by this team past few years were due to big deep balls to Metcalf or Lockett
All it will take is for Russ to spin out of our DL line's hands two or three times to find Metcalf or Lockett for a 60+ yard completion for Seattle to win. With how anemic the Niner offense has been so far this season, and knowing Seattle D always comes loaded for bear, I fear the Niners will struggle to put up 20+.
I hope I'm wrong, but this team does not inspire confidence this year.

Thats just it. I just hope Kirkpatrick, Moseley, Skrine, and Lenoir can hold their coverages. Tartt and Jimmy will need to help with the coverage. SEA will counter that though, with what GB did, bring out 3-4 WR's so we will have to go man to man which Ryan will fall for.
I'm already annoyed and the game hasn't even started yet.

Yeah no matter how much Seattle may struggle they are always a matchup nightmare for us going back to when Pete first got there. It's frustrating because it feels like they always build their teams specifically to beat us….but it's like the Niners always build to dominate all teams EXCEPT Seattle. It also shows in the energy that each team brings in the matchups. With the exception of 2019 where we should have won both matchups, we always seem to go into these games looking like a deer in headlights.
I wish the Niner players and coaches had as much hate for Seattle as Niner fans do. It would definitely show more in the results.

I feel the same way. Already in a bad mood that way the team can't ruin my Sunday. No where to go but up! lol

Also, let's assume that Hyder is probably going to have a career day against the team that didn't pay him what he thought he deserved. Seems like there's always at least one Seahawk that has some personal vendetta against us that becomes a world beater for one day e.g. Clowney
