With a Healthy team, Jimmy gives us a better chance at the playoffs and SB because his floor is higher than Trey's floor. But the problem is we are not anywhere close to being healthy, So we are going to need a QB to help carry us and with that we need Trey's ceiling. We are not making the playoffs with Jimmy with so many guys injured. So may as well give the rookie reps and see if it gives the team a spark. And if it doesn't, then atleast he gets playing time under his belt going into next season.

This isn't a SB roster

I don't agree. Minus the secondary and QB play, we should have enough talent wise to compete for a superbowl. If we had 2017 jimmy, this would be a superbowl contender no question

That's minus some pretty important parts lol.

Harbaugh got to the superbowl with a similar roster make up. Weak secondary, top shelf dline and a slightly above average QB

Its crazy to have this many injury issues over and over again. Its football and people will get hurt, that's inevitable but when your team is consistently one of the worst when it comes to injury issues, there's something else going on there.

1-6 in last seven games at Levis.

Place is cursed!

^^^ THIS ^^^

Fck Levi's. Home field not advantage

Absolutely true. Levi's sucks, Always has..

Levis been a POS stadium from the get go, it's a lifeless husk of concrete.

One reason you can't have any expectations for Shanahan teams is that we lose half the starters before we are half way through the season. Every year this happens. And that completely changes what you can do on the field. In this case we also lost our top 4 RB's and 2 out of 3 starting corners by week 3. And this team never prioritizes CB's like it should, so we are now in big trouble there. As a couple of ex players have said, they never had this kind of injury problem under Harbaugh, and that's when training camp and in-season practices were much more physical. This team is still doing something wrong when it comes to strength and conditioning. But it's so much more than that. Poor clock management, bad 4th down play calls, critical penalties and turnovers. Our super bowl year we we ripping the ball out and causing fumbles. We were getting a lot of INT's. That hasn't been happening the past two years.
We did hold the Seahawks to only 234 yards and 4.3 yards a play. If you knew that and that we had 450 yards of offense before the game, you wouldn't think we lost.

Corneres weren't great besides Carlos rodgers for a season. Our Safeties were some hittas though.
I'm so happy to see the rookie out there
Jimmy is nowhere near the answer.

Yeah the calf (Kittle / Jimmy G) and groin (Gould) I see as different then Williams (shoulder). Not much you can do for Trent when he falls like that, but the others
Even though he fumbled today, I would put Trenton Cannon in as RB. He has outside speed.

One positive.....we aren't shaming on Dontae Johnson at last. He's probably happy about that.

Well he did miss that sack on Wilson that lead to a TD.

I mean, do you think Carlos Rogers and Tarrel Brown would've done anything without our pass rush?

Dante whitner was solid, Dashon goldson was boom or bust
If it is the same guys getting injured year after year, then it's a bit harder to blame the training staff. Jimmy, Kittle, Verrett, Mostert, Kinlaw, etc. are just injury prone. No training staff in the world can help them. The Gould injury is just bizarre.
Let's run a jet sweep when you need 2 yards..gtfo here shanny.Shanny is a glorified Oc...thats all he'll ever be. STOP GIVING HIM A PASS. ALSO Same old Jimmy..HIGH PASSES LOW PASSES. HES GOING TO GET DEEBO OR KITTLE KILLED
