We gotta stop making excuses about injury's every team deals with them they get paid so much money to evaluate talent n that is the scout teams jobs the next man mentally gotta be the team slogan if you can't perform or sustain your position as a football player to keep your position we got your replacement waiting for their shots and have a crack at it simple I'm tired of hearing injury's this injury's that we soft like tissues we not solid anymore some of our players fragile we need smash mouth punch em in the mouth toughness of football 🏈 mentally again Harbagh knew how to coach em like that

Look if canon didn't fumble and gould didn't have that mysterious injury, this might've been a different ball game. You need good players, good coaches, and good luck to win in this league. We've been missing good luck for quite a while.

Not sure who should play but Trey can obviously do things Jimmy can't. Once Trey settled down, he got into a little bit of rythim I'm and is very hard to sack. Jimmy would have been dead on several plays where Trey was able to keep upright. with all the injuries piling up again, thinking Trey is our best chance to win. Even with the inevitable rookie mistakes. Two games in a row that we really could have won. Still hoping can get going enough to sneak in for a wild card berth but will be tough.

I had to go pick up my daughter after the first qtr or so....I thought SF was going to go away with this game, Sea was in shambles......
So low and behold not only did the 49ers loose, but the rookie QB put up a very decent stat line as an injury replacement damnnnn.
Good for Lance, does anyone know what happen to Jimmy is he coming back next week?

The 2 main problems I've seen through 4 games besides injuries
1) Inability to sustain intensity throughout the entire game
2) Lack of killer instinct on offense when getting a lead (see #1)
All gas & no brakes has become hit the pedal and then throw it into neutral and coast the rest of the way
Would you think that this is a lack of leadership and maturity?
Coaching ?
Or do you think that it is something else?

That's what happens when you have bad coaching

Can Jimmy stop throwing the balls so high? Thanks to him Kittle got more hurt. It's ridiculous. Jimmy does not care about whether the guys he throws to get hurt. He sets them up to get hit.
that said, we know this ain't the season for us. So ride with Trey, give him the experience.

I would add not getting any turnovers since Greenlaw's Pick 6 in the first game.

Too many conservative play calls. Got plenty of weapons but Kyle rather throw in a jet sweep on 4th and 2..🤔

Jimmy got his calf stepped on and apparently said he couldn't drive on it.
Now, one conspiracy theory is that Jimmy privately vowed to never play hurt for this team again, and maybe he could have gone.
But that's wild speculation. All we know is he got hurt. But if he wants to keep his job he better get healthy quick.

Side note: several angry Jimmy Cultists stopped watching before Trey calmed his nerves and started to play better.
I personally was impressed with his elusiveness in the pocket. But while I think he can be functional because of his legs, and the threat he brings to both the run game and deep pass, he obviously isn't ready for the rhythm quick game, as everyone knew. And that's a huge deal in the NFL.
That said, after watching his clutch 4th down plays, I honestly don't think the net would be a drop for the offense. Our run game will be better, even if our rhythm passing game is worse. And then there's the coming off the bench factor. He may have played better without the rust.

Looks like the QB switch happened today. I expected Jimmy to carve up this defense, but he left too many points on the field. If he is going to play like that, I don't see any drop offs by playing the inexperienced Trey Lance.
