SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2021 Game 4

That's assuming they use them. They might trade them for several lower round picks and build their roster. Those picks from the Niners are probably going to be in the high teens or mid 20s. Not top 10 picks.
The 49ers dominated the Seahawks and still lost. It really came down to a terrible turnover on that kickoff that gave them an easy TD and a missing placekicker that cost them a FG. The PIs didn't help either. The Seahawks gained 234 yards to 457 for SF and still they won.

The Niners need to find a way to create turnovers. They aren't getting any pass interceptions and aren't forcing fumbles. They can't keep losing the turnover battle every week. All the yards they piled up in the first half and they go in tied at the half.

Yup, but the biggest difference is they have an elite QB. Allows them to overcome outings like this and win. If Lance can become that, it will solve a lot of our ills as a team.
I wonder what happened after the 1st quarter. The Niners were getting to Wilson and completely dominating the game. Did Seattle change up their blocking or what? For some reason they quit getting to him.

Truth.

The bold continues to be a mindset taught here IMHO and you see it with every new player that comes in here to this defense. They just don't play the ball...almost always the man, then the ball but never with the thought of just intercepting the ball first.

And of course that Seattle luck. 3 fumbles right back to themselves. Ours goes right to them. Arg!

Agreed. That Canon turnover sealed the game. It would have already been hard to win without a placekicker but losing that fumbled sealed it.

2 tough losses in a row. Only silver lining is we were in both games and pretty much shot ourselves in the foot in both losses although losing your kicker in warmups is just plain bad luck.

I think we will continue to lose the turnover battle the next few weeks Trey starts. He's going to have a lot of growing pains.

As great as Montana was running Walsh's offense it was the defensive backfield of Lott, Hicks, Wright and Williamson along with the pass rush that won the SB that year.

The 4 starting DBs had 23 INTs. The team had a total of 27 INTs

32 fumble recoveries.

59 total turnovers.

So far after 4 games they have 1 INT by Greenlaw who's on IR and 2 fumble recoveries. That's on pace for a measly 12-13 turnovers.

and to think they thought we were going to be a top team with a high draft pick.

Question, who will we trade this year to gain back a 1st?

This defense ain't built to dominate for all 4 quarters. It came down to the offense squandering opportunities to extend the lead in the first half.

Trade kittle. His bodies already starting to break down but he still has high perceived value.

After that you trade Warner and maybe armstead. The only person who should be off limits is bosa.

Looked like it may be season ending.

They we're probably frustrated with the Offense lack or production throughout the game so they decided to give up. .. Either that, or they we're getting tired from chasing the midget around.
