If you would have told me that we would only give up 149 passing yards to Wilson and 30 yards rushing to Carson, I would assume we won the game by atleast two TD's.
We had 365 total yards to Seattle's 254. But Special teams killed us. Not having Gould and losing those 3 points and then the Cannon fumble which lead to another 7 points. And also the special teams play where we could have downed the ball inside the 5 yard line but for some reason our guy(can't remember who it was) decided to catch the ball and roll into the endzone instead of just batting it away. It was a touchback and that was the drive the Seahawks got the game trying TD.

Cannon was the idiot who doesn't know how to field punts (and not roll into the endzone like a f**king moron).

Well look at it this way neither the Seahawks nor the 49ers are gonna win the SB this year. You can bet on this! Anti-jinx just for the 49ers :)

Seachickens because it will throw the whole NFC West picture into chaos outside of Arizona plus I'm tired of the M.Stafford Stans flooding this forum.

4 probable points missed due to Gould out: the missed FG and extra-point! The 'double-fumble' by Cannon was just paltry! He wasn't touched on either muff! Embarrassing, as bad as Jimmy's backward/pass fumble against the Packers. The throw back to Jimmy which he had to pull down with one hand was a good scheme but executed inefficiently. How much is law-of-averages bad luck and under what 'parameters' may they just not be that good, we may wonder 😞

Not ready to release him yet just because he made a dumb play, which I guarantee he learned from. How many turnovers has JG made, ready to release him? Cannon's only played 2 games and no one wanted to cut him after that long kick off return in the GB game.

Easy, Rams, because I hate the Seahawks. I love any team that beats SEA and I hope the Rams put up a 50 burger.

The 49ers dominated the Seahawks and still lost. It really came down to a terrible turnover on that kickoff that gave them an easy TD and a missing placekicker that cost them a FG. The PIs didn't help either. The Seahawks gained 234 yards to 457 for SF and still they won.
The Niners need to find a way to create turnovers. They aren't getting any pass interceptions and aren't forcing fumbles. They can't keep losing the turnover battle every week. All the yards they piled up in the first half and they go in tied at the half.
Truth.
The bold continues to be a mindset taught here IMHO and you see it with every new player that comes in here to this defense. They just don't play the ball...almost always the man, then the ball but never with the thought of just intercepting the ball first.
And of course that Seattle luck. 3 fumbles right back to themselves. Ours goes right to them. Arg!
As great as Montana was running Walsh's offense it was the defensive backfield of Lott, Hicks, Wright and Williamson along with the pass rush that won the SB that year.
The 4 starting DBs had 23 INTs. The team had a total of 27 INTs
32 fumble recoveries.
59 total turnovers.
So far after 4 games they have 1 INT by Greenlaw who's on IR and 2 fumble recoveries. That's on pace for a measly 12-13 turnovers.
Tis is why I feel we need to change up from tarrt and ward there just ok
Wanted to keep ha ha.
