So, basically, you're Forty Whining about people making objective criticisms against our team?

Lol, the posts he's talking about aren't objective. He's talking about the exagerrated hyperbole and toxic comments that get littered throughout the gameday threads when things go wrong. The ones that have absolutely no logic or sense of emotional control.

The ones he's talking about are as far from objective as you can get.

Just ignore them. People can vent if they want. Exaggerated hyperbole? How about you insufferable homers?

"Yeaaaahh baby go niners Lance is the best QB in this draft guaranteed superbowwwwl"
"Bosa is held literally every play!!!"
"The refs hate us why??!?!"

And so on and so forth.

You? Show me a post where I've done that?

This is exactly what I mean, instead of actually responding like a reasonable person you jump to the most extreme example so you have an excuse to apply a label regardless of whether or not it fits.

This. Take the loss, move on to the next week.

it is what it is. It's out of our control.

Dude, stay out of the gameday threads if you don't want to see crazy s**t. I personally get a kick out of some of the more deranged takes in there.

theres no deranged takwe that our defense doesn't tackle. there's no deranged take that fred warner got pushed back 4 yards by a running back after signing a 95m contract. Great hair though!!, There's no deranged take that our defensive coaching staff still hasnt coached up outside contain even though its been 5 fkn years, theres no deranged take that we dont have an offensive game plan that doesn't require 3x 4.3 burners at running back.

So this, when I was younger I was a wreck watching the game and annoyed all week. As I've gotten older I'm upset yes but I get over it. I'm just becoming numb as a 9ers fan expecting bs anyways

For the posters who thought that this was a Superbowl roster. Yeah, you probably broke your televisions today. Oh well.

I Broke my tv and Vcr set up in 2002ish.. whene the 49ers lost to the Seahawks on SNF When it was on ESPN at the time.. 49ERS were driving and going in for the game winning Td and Garrison Hearst Fumbled at like the 5 yard line..

Same man, my whole day would be ruined. My week would be crap.

but I've learned to just the take the loss.

players move on from losses, no reason we shouldn't either.

I don't let it control my life anymore.

I used to get crushed with a loss in the Walsh/Siefert years.
But since the York's took over and we suffered through the 2000's and especially now that we've F'd away 2 Super Bowls I just feel like we're always gonna be Jed's franchise. No relation to the Debartolo era.

Agreed. Losses back in 80s and 90s used to sting until Wednesday of the following week because they were so rare. Ever since Eddie D left expectations are completely different. It's come to a point where I would settle for a winning season every 5 years.

Players do move on. They smile and hang out after losses. They trade jerseys. Can't let this stuff bother you.

Mods, if you want to lock this thread or ban me, I understand. But I need to air this out there. This fanbase is a joke. I'm not even mad at the team or coaching staff after this loss. This was all on typical bad luck on our side, good luck on their side, and a boneheaded play by Cannon. Jimmy is who he is, showed that today and it's why we have been limited on offense.

But this fanbase pisses me off. First half when we were dominating them, we were louder than the 12's, but the moment things started not going our way the announcers started clowning on our lack of home field advantage. Unacceptable, but it is what is. What is most egregious are the onslaught of the most ignorant, idiotic and a just downright awful comments made here and elsewhere on social media, particularly when it comes to the takes on Shanahan. He didn't have a perfect game, but WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN JIMMY IS WHO HE IS AND ON TOP OF THAT HE GETS INJURED. Then when Trey comes in, everyone all up and thinks he must light it up and score like he's Mahomes with little to no preparation for taking over. What do yall expect? After he settled down, he made some good plays out there.

This fanbase is freaking toxic. It's why other fanbases clown on us. They call us the "Forty Whiners", and it is well deserved. All whining and moaning and calling to fire people left and right, with total lack of perspective or nuance.

I'm sure as hell glad yall aren't the GM/owner. If you were, we'd be worse than the 0-16 Lions/Browns teams. FACT!

Faithful, my ass. yall need to do better

Was watching you crying in the game thread too.

How about you get out there and melt with the rest of us instead of sniveling from your air conditioned couch?
So your complaining the owner built a stadium that's extremely hot and doesn't carry sound very well?

Your also complaining that we completely dominated them an entire half and went in tied?

Then your mad when Kyle shows that lance wasn't worth 4 picks 3 of then first rounders. Sermon also is complete garbage for where he was picked and our second round pick can't even get onto the field.

Your upset the fanbase has had to watch a majority of losing seasons and all of Kyle's "darlings" early picks aren't planning out?

The late round scouts that pick for us are way better than our head coach at drafting. It's sad.
Agreed. This fanbase is a joke.
What fan base doesn't have bandwagoners?

half of these guys just came when we traded up for lance cus they wanted to be on board if he was the next mahommes.

what I really hate is that we're throwing the kid into the gauntlet. Some like this approach but I wish jimmy didn't go down right now and we have to toss the kid in.

wouldbe been nice to have him go against the lions and eagles first but it's too late now.
I'll tell you what Arizona running hot everyone thinks it's gonna be a blowout but we keep it closer than everyone expects.
