Jed didn't want any shades, so the fans and team bake.

That's what happens when you build a stadium in Santa Clara that was designed for candlestick.

Hold up. So yiyou u guys are telling that the sun beams directly on the fans with no type of cover?

Mods, if you want to lock this thread or ban me, I understand. But I need to air this out there. This fanbase is a joke. I'm not even mad at the team or coaching staff after this loss. This was all on typical bad luck on our side, good luck on their side, and a boneheaded play by Cannon. Jimmy is who he is, showed that today and it's why we have been limited on offense.

But this fanbase pisses me off. First half when we were dominating them, we were louder than the 12's, but the moment things started not going our way the announcers started clowning on our lack of home field advantage. Unacceptable, but it is what is. What is most egregious are the onslaught of the most ignorant, idiotic and a just downright awful comments made here and elsewhere on social media, particularly when it comes to the takes on Shanahan. He didn't have a perfect game, but WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN JIMMY IS WHO HE IS AND ON TOP OF THAT HE GETS INJURED. Then when Trey comes in, everyone all up and thinks he must light it up and score like he's Mahomes with little to no preparation for taking over. What do yall expect? After he settled down, he made some good plays out there.

This fanbase is freaking toxic. It's why other fanbases clown on us. They call us the "Forty Whiners", and it is well deserved. All whining and moaning and calling to fire people left and right, with total lack of perspective or nuance.

I'm sure as hell glad yall aren't the GM/owner. If you were, we'd be worse than the 0-16 Lions/Browns teams. FACT!

Faithful, my ass. yall need to do better

Was watching you crying in the game thread too.

How about you get out there and melt with the rest of us instead of sniveling from your air conditioned couch?

LOL Please point to where I was crying? There's a difference between venting anger and whining about illogical crap.

nothing wrong with the fanbase at all. I want winners as my fellow faithful. Not losers that stick to the "it's ok maybe next year" mantra. I want our fans to DEMAND that the team be great, and call them out when they play below expectations.

the only thing that does bother me is that the Yorks have turned our stadium into a business venue. The seats are full of corporate hacks and rich elitists who run for cover when the sun shines too bright. These people should be quarantined to a small part of the stadium and the MAJORITY of seats should be made affordable for the average rabid fan that will cheer the team from start to finish.

I think this is where people are getting me twisted. There is nothing wrong with criticizing or even being angry, but please direct it at the right things. So it boils down to I am tired of really bad takes. Like anyone could've objectively watched this game and clearly told you why we lost: injuries to our starting QB and kicker, erratic play from both QBs, and a really dumb turnover by the return guy.

These aren't reasons for a rational person to be calling for the heads of the coaches/GMs.

1. Stop being cheap and add shade to the damn stadium.
2. Stop serving sushi and wine at the game.

Fans will get louder and more rowdy.

Honestly, part of me thinks that the problem with the stadium is that it's inhabited mostly by wealthy, tech yuppies. But I could be wrong.

I was there today. It wasn't a sell out. The stadium was 80% full - but it was plenty loud. Our home field advantage isn't world class, but it's fine. The stadium itself and the location - terrible.

Yeah good points actually lol. But I put the blame more on what the bay has become in general. The rough and tough crowd is shrinking, and the techie crowd is growing. As a techie myself, I know how soft techies are lmao

Man I miss Candlestick
My opinion is that people who are complaining about yuppie crowds, tech people, etc. simply are talking out of their you know whats.

Our crowds are they same as they have been through good years. There isn't a marked difference. It's just as loud now as it was at Candlestick. I haven't seen a single sushi bar. It's all just nonsense.

The only difference between Levi's and Candlestick is the heat.

You're 100% right. Many of them will go away if we implement #2. Lol

I was taking my time at the snack bar. I got to see the Cannon fumble from the snack bar TV where at least I was just mad, not hot and mad.

Lol wut. Candlestick noise and crowd enthusiasm takes a giant dump on Levi's. It's not even close.

Read forums for entertainment, and try not to let other football opinions get you tired. Not all sports fans see the game through the same lens. We all fan in different ways.

Ive had season tickets for almost 3 decades. Been going to games even longer than that. It's absolutely close.
