Mods, if you want to lock this thread or ban me, I understand. But I need to air this out there. This fanbase is a joke. I'm not even mad at the team or coaching staff after this loss. This was all on typical bad luck on our side, good luck on their side, and a boneheaded play by Cannon. Jimmy is who he is, showed that today and it's why we have been limited on offense.

But this fanbase pisses me off. First half when we were dominating them, we were louder than the 12's, but the moment things started not going our way the announcers started clowning on our lack of home field advantage. Unacceptable, but it is what is. What is most egregious are the onslaught of the most ignorant, idiotic and a just downright awful comments made here and elsewhere on social media, particularly when it comes to the takes on Shanahan. He didn't have a perfect game, but WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN JIMMY IS WHO HE IS AND ON TOP OF THAT HE GETS INJURED. Then when Trey comes in, everyone all up and thinks he must light it up and score like he's Mahomes with little to no preparation for taking over. What do yall expect? After he settled down, he made some good plays out there.

This fanbase is freaking toxic. It's why other fanbases clown on us. They call us the "Forty Whiners", and it is well deserved. All whining and moaning and calling to fire people left and right, with total lack of perspective or nuance.

I'm sure as hell glad yall aren't the GM/owner. If you were, we'd be worse than the 0-16 Lions/Browns teams. FACT!

Faithful, my ass. yall need to do better

Whining about whiners…
this team and its fanbase are doomed…

The stadium should have had a modern design for Santa Clara.

Yesterday was the first game where I went to Levi's sober. I thought being sober would help with the heat because I hate being drunk in the sun. It definitely helped, but was still hot af. 1st quarter was manageable but by 2-230pm I had to get out of the sun for a bit.
I do think it's the damn glass from the suites reflecting additional heat.

It really is crazy how hot it gets there. Yes, I am very aware that all of us Bay Area residents are soft when it comes to heat. But it literally feels 15 degrees hotter in the stadium than it does outside. That HAS to be stadium design.

Me too, that pissed me off beyond belief.
your right it is time to call out the fan base. time to call out everyone who is still in denial about this injury problem. time to call out the "the is the NFL next man up" clowns who refuse to see whats going on in front of them. we arent doing s**t until the injury problem is fixed. its that simple.

Are you new? The 49ers fanbase is a clown show you just read the stupidity and laugh at it.
If you get mad watching a game it should be for fun and get stressed on Sundays you're a loser. Like the results of a football game matters.

Many people get mad and pissed off at sports are you just watching it now?? There's fights, deaths and even destruction over sports. Go and try and sit at Raider game and call them losers at the stadium because they're getting mad that their team is losing and see what happens!!! I ain't doing that s**t believe me!!!

Just saying it's easy to call people losers behind a keyboard.

people getting mad at games is a great branch of losers.
Go to a Raiders game? lmao I'm not wasting over $200 to watch a game I have better things to do with my life on Sundays.
I watch football on gamepass without commercials way after the games are over. I never enter to losers world on gameday threads on forums and youtube. I usually just watch NFL Redzone to catch every game at the same time.

Dude, stay out of the gameday threads if you don't want to see crazy s**t. I personally get a kick out of some of the more deranged takes in there.

Spot on, it helps me laugh off the disappointment lol

Still not as comedic as the Singletary era, but entertaining nonetheless!

oh yeah, those were classic days haha... all we had left was our laughter

my seats are in the upper level right where the sun hits for most of the game. I wore a cotton shirt and loose fitting shorts yesterday and every time I got up/out of my seat, my shorts were soaking wet like i'd jumped into a pool. all sweat. so gross.

My seats are in the upper level also. I love my seats, other than it being excruciatingly hot.

I'm more upset about the "forward progress" call that was made against Willis when he stripped bradshaw i believe? in the Championship against the Giants.

Dno how the hell they called that, which meant we could not challenge.

That was the year we should have won it all.

I have to add to this bc people seem to think this ridiculous rhetoric is limited to this forum.

It is NOT.

The fanbase, as a whole, on every platform is talking this nonsense. Kyle is overrated and should be fired?? Get a new weed man.

The 49ers had a 230 to -8 yardage advantage into the 2nd quarter and had 7 points to show for it. That was a function of a 30 year old QB who has 4+ years in the same system being more of a liability than an asset. Jimmy has had roughly 1 quarter of good play in every game this year. When that stretch comes is anybody guess. But Kyle cannot continue to be afraid to call his type of game because his QB is still limited after all this time. He should be a savant on the field with this by now, and he's not. That's a problem.

Instead of acknowledging this, we have to hear about how our defense (who allowed 150 yard passing and 234 total) is the problem, Lynch and Kyle need to be let go, blah blah blah.

Nothing about what their eyes actually saw...just random Uber emotional BS that does nothing for anyone.

But hey.. let's just act like it doesn't happen and that's perfectly normal lol
The stadium is crazy on that side for the sunlight so I always pay through the nose for the good side and would always stay throughout the whole game. But even folks leave when we are winning from the good side. It's their money. There are no rules to say you are a better fan if you stay. The game and team must compel you to stay if that is what it necessary.

Reality for this year though is that most thought we had a SB winning team. That is not what is being shown on the field. Some fans react the only way they know how. With their feet. They are mostly still fans but are on a journey to adjust their expectations. So different than 2019 when the expectation was much lower.

Jed literally recycled a stadium that was designed to go into candlestick. Then they went and built it facing the wrong direction so the sun hit its wall of glass in afternoon games. My favorite part was how he publiically fought with Harbaugh about were to put the home side because Jed wanted them directly in that sun.

It was so lame to recycle a 20 year old design.
