Well we lost as I expected but it was much closer than I thought.

Positives: I like Demeco much better than Salah already. Finally after 3-4 years the defense was coached not to blast up field past Murray ( & RW) and loose the edge.

Trey played pretty good for a first full game,he had mistakes and made some plays that JG never would have.

As someone mentioned, Trey and JG both have their strong points and I give JG a slight edge right now simply due to experience but depending on how quickly Trey learns he may give the team the best chance to win by week 10,16 or it may be the start of next season. (Obviously we won't need to debate that next season because JG will not be here)

Because Trey is a rookie,he was too amped up on that throw and INT in the Q1. He takes off a little too quickly and a bit too often. He was better at it but needs to take some umph off certain passes. He needs to start sliding feet first more often than head first because he's fair game ,plus he's likely to get roughing calls going feet first. (Can't believe the squirrel didn't get any of those from us this game, a first I believe).

Overall, we hung in there and Trey will learn from his mistakes and get better each week. No rookie is going to be Montana or even Jeff Garcia his first year,first games.

It was under 2 minutes in the Chiefs game.

Other than the CRAZY holding that opposing Olines get away with, our games have been decently called so far this year.

These last 4 games are 4 of the worst reffed games I've seen in a long long time. No holding or basically any penalties called against Philly, BS PI calls (and no PI calls) against Green Bay. No holding called on Seattle all day, and today was just atrocious.

Unfortunately kittle is turning into garappolo as far as staying on the field. He's a hell of a player but, doesn't help anything when he's injured all the time.

Dwelley's whiff on that 4th and goal was huge too. Lance likely walks in the end zone if he gets a half decent block. Dude complete whiffed and that pushed Lance towards the sidelines.

Why did Kyle give up on the running game (with running backs, not a rookie qb) and the receivers ?
Why did he take so much risk with Trey Lance, putting the invested picks at risk ?
Why didn't take the points when they were there (FGs insted of busted 4th downs), considering the great game payed by the defense ?
