SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at ARIZONA CARDINALS - 2021 Game 5

Just looking forward to Trey getting play time. I'd love a win but more on board with letting Trey start the growth process. Real curious what Kyle goes with today. I'm bet $1 run run run but I hope he lets Trey out the box and let's him feel natural. Give the kid some confidence weather that's a scrabble or letting it go down field a few times.

Yeah, me too - just hoping for a good game from Trey.

Feel like these guys are fired up today. They can't afford to go less than .500

probably gonna see alot of end arounds and run, run, pass. I don't think Shanny is gonna put him in a situation where he's gonna have to win it for us. He's just gonna stay with a game plan regardless if we're winning or not.

He's simply giving you a veteran player take at this stage of the season. Veterans aren't stupid. Trey could pull this off but they still will know it might not be because he's ready to carry the game plan every week going forward. They also know things will be limited and learning = mistakes. Mistakes cost you games.

If you disagree with that, cool.

It's still a win-win for me because he's getting real game experience here and tape and an opportunity to grow.

Dude again no vet signed a massive contract because it gave them a chance to play with Jimmy G…davis is a dummy.

Jimmy makes the same damn mistakes he made since say one…let's stop acting like he's some pro-bowl caliber QB.

I don't think Lance is gonna play great today, there's no reason why he should imo. Dude has got next to nothing in development and hasn't played real football since 2019. Still if he goes out and plays good football, you can't just go back to lame duck Jimmy just because.

Man that locker room is gonna be pissed to play with Lance lol

Man . . . but don't they just HATE playing with Lance!

I know right

I don't see it but I hope y'all right. Pitts, waddle, chase all killing it. Only thing that will make it worth is if he plays on herberts level

You'd be willing to pay 3 1st round picks for Pitts?! I dont know if there's a TE in the history of the sport worth that.

A bunch of read option is what i'm expecting.
SF is a couple of big injuries away from me losing complete interest in this season. A win is obviously important, but for the long haul, I think Lance showing improving signs is a greater concern.

Yeah, I'm sure AZ is counting on that

I don't get why everyone is saying it's gonna be a bunch of RPOs? Like that's what he did in NDSU all the time…I expect that to be a factor but not what the offense is based around.

That's entirely what I'm expecting the offense to be based around.

I mean why wouldn't it?
We drafted the kid because he can make the throws that Jimmy can only make in his dreams. I hope Shanadumb lets him do what he was born to do.

If KS is smart which he is, he should base it off of the run just like he did in 2019
