If this team starts clicking and gets hot at the right time, they will make a run deep into the playoffs. The talent is there and unquestionable, it's all about clicking at the right time. It's not how you start, it's how you finish. You can see the potential of this team when they're fully running on all cylinders. All of the Niners losses this year were against playoff teams and they had the chance to win all three those games. They seemed to miss at least one or two cylinders each game to put them on top, but they're not getting dominated nor getting destroyed by those teams. Once they figure it out this team is going deep into the playoffs.

What was the Tampa Bay's record for the first half of last season?

Probably but at least we can look forward to next year's draft...oh wait

I like the optimism but we are already out Mostert and most importantly Verrett. Verrett alone would of gave us the GB game and the ARIZ game and add in Gould and that's Seattle easily.

I think we finish with 10-11 wins....if other teams even have significant injuries like we do then I believe we can get closer to your prediction but then again the Niners are never lucky unlike the Rams and Cards who always seem to have their great players healthy while playing opponents at their worst

Could you honestly see any of the following teams beat us out?

Panthers - Saints - Bears - Washington - Eagles or Seahawks (without Rusty Wilson)

A season is like a journey, with ups and downs. Fortunes in the NFL change each week. Remember 2011 with no training camp and a new head coach, we came so close. There is plenty of time to go on a run, if this team stays healthy they will be ok.

That's exactly who I have making it.....if injuries remain relatively the same. Good call

Even if we made the playoffs, can't see us going deep into them.
