There's a meteorologist on KNBR now that's saying the Pinapple Express is going to hit the South Bay right around game time. He says there could be 1/2 inch to 1 inch of rain during the game with high winds (30-MPH). He says this could be a really high rain event. He's advising to bring all your foul weather gear but forget the umbrellas since the winds might fold them right up.

But then this is only his forecast. Things could change.

Is Jimmy still gonna be able to unleash his deep ball?

No way the 9ers are 1-5 in the NFC West and no way they make the playoffs with a 1-5 division record.

Both can be true, here's how:

I see the Niners beating AZ in SF, but getting swept by the Rams (clearly the better team, regardless of Kyle's record against them) and losing at Seattle (Wilson will be back and except for 2019, SF gets crucified there).

Now, beating the Bears and Vikings give head to head tiebreakers for a wild card spot and as long as Seattle has fewer wins than SF, a 1-5 divisional record wont matter in the least.

The playoffs for us will depend on what production we get out of the Qb situation.

agree. homers keep wanting to spin close losses as some sort of a good thing.. when in fact. we find ways to lose close games. good teams find ways to win close games.

that depends on what kind of a game the coach calls no matter the qb. when trey was in there. kyle was horrible and as a result trey got hurt. i get the qb talk is sexy to discuss./ but i think we are a poorly coached team and we are finding out kyle may not be the brilliant coach play caller and motivator of men we thought he was two years ago

Yeah, Kyle has got to figure that out. It doesn't look good right now.
With the playoffs expanding to 7 teams I think we still have a chance at making it just by how top heavy the NFC is. The 4 division leaders being Cardinals, Packers, Cowboys and Buccs. The wildcard team that's a lock is the Rams and maybe the Vikings.

That leaves this list of teams for 1 spot
Eagles, Giants, WFT
Lions, Bears
Panthers, Saints, Falcons
Seahawks, 49ers

I personally still like our chances unless someone can make a convincing argument that one of those teams has more potential to get on a roll than us. Then we will be one and done in the playoffs
YES.
