I can't seem to put my finger on wtf is wrong? Even last year with Mullins and Bethard we moved the ball and had explosive plays.. This season we're absolutely terrible.
Jimmy is Jimmy. Can't throw outside the numbers. Will make one bonehead play a game. He'll make you a believer once in awhile.
Trey... Athletic.. has a long wind up. Holds the ball to long. He's a rookie 🤷
Running game.. I don't know what to make of it. Kyle is supposed to be the innovator of running plays.. but it's just been ok.
Wrs.. we thought we had a pair of dynamic wrs this year. Paired with Kittle we thought they would be impressive.. so far.. Debo has been the only factor.
Play calling. Trash.. no rhyme no reason.. To cute at times.

They were never going to compete against the division because they're not good enough. The roster is overrated.
Colts, Bears, Jaguars, Vikings, Bengals, Falcons, Titans, and Texans coming up on the schedule. They'll probably look better and compete well. They're an above average team, but not elite.

We go as far as this O-Line takes us, right now its 2secs to throw or sack or scramble. Can't move ppl on run plays aswell!

This is honestly what it feels like. All of the trickery and what not feels very forced and almost desperate. Kyle should take this off season and go back to the basics, and work on beating people with out executing them, rather than this "i'm setting something up for the third quarter" crap

We have below average QB play and our running backs are banged up.
Our coach is inflexible in his scheme and personnel decision making.
If we had a dominant run game and defense, we could hide some of it just like we did in 19. Not to hate on the defense, they've been pretty good overall.

The offensive line, particularly everyone to the right of Tomlinson have not played up to expectations. There's a lot of blame to go around but it all starts up front.

Mediocre QB play, below average pass protection, Mostert hurt, below average wide receivers…lack of home run hitters that can take it to the house so they're having to grind out points.
Overall, just not much explosiveness on offense.

We're actually moving the ball productively in each of our games, but we're inconsistent. The Eagles and Packers games featured slow starts and then we've had our raw rookie QB since halftime against the Seahawks.
Since Trey has been in, the offense seems to struggle on third/fourth downs. Trey isn't really there as a passer, so we run a run call. Except the problem is the defense keys in on that. It's just the growing pains of a young passer.
Our runningback room figures to get healthier in the next few weeks. Elijah Mitchell looked good today and we should get back to running the ball better.

We had more designed runs for T.Lance than we did designed carries for Mitchell who was avg 4.8 ypc.

Mitchell and Sermon combined for 10 carries 50 yards. The running game from what I can tell looked good enough today.
We drafted WRs and RBs that are supposed to be good at YAC. Part of that is getting good enough passes to actually be able to get YAC. Bot Trey and Jimmy has been less than stellar in that area.
There's also the fact that Aiyuk doesn't get as much action as a guy with his talent should get.
I can see how play calling can get called out. However, just like Kyle's 2 SB losses. He's calling plays where guys are open. We have to execute. That's blocking, throwing & catching.
IMO it all starts with getting your dogs on the field. Aiyuk and Deebo should be out there minimum 80% of the snaps. With plays designed for them depending on game plan for the week.
Next comes actually throwing accurate passes to allow our guys to RAC.
It makes no sense to go after guys specifically for their YAC to fit your style of play calling then get a signal caller that is the complete opposite of what you were trying to build.
You then get what we saw today.

The offensive line with mcglinchey and brunskill is garbage. It doesn't matter who the qb is. And shanahans playcalling sucks ass. That about sums it up.
